Fun video to watch. #1 should be - Always get snow tires Best car I ever had in the snow was a Rear wheel drive BMW 545i on snow tires. It was unbelievable. Better than 4wd SUV's I have had. Side note: James, watch the part in your video where the camera is facing rearward and look at the ski box frame shaking. Have the guys that made it add an X brace between the left and right sides. That will stiffen it up and should eliminate the side to side shaking while on rough roads.

diude make better research next time. The thing about quadro and lambo. no it is not the same system. and no. quattro is not a one system. it is not even a system of drivetrain. quattro is only marketing term. Audi have many many many diffrent systems that work totaly diffrent, and it depends on what engine type is and many other stuff. not even talking about lambo and r8. that have even more diffrent system because of mid engine. :)

Stradman, the phantom 3 pros have intelligent flight modes. One of them is the follow mode. You set the height and it will follow the controller, as long as you point the camera at a good angle and don't do too many curves/turns it's very doable to fly it and have it do most of the work. Try it out and if you use it just give me a shout out I guess? Ha Good luck

I want to see you do donuts Also have Ken Block teach you. And maybe a tip for the camera/tripod issue. the phantom is nearly rock solid when it comes to hovering. you could fly it to a spot you would have put the tripod, set the controller in the passenger seat, drive by, and then stop, grab the remote and fly away from said tripod location. no walking through the snow.

this reminds me of a time when I was driving on the highway in the snow. A guy in a pick up truck got on the highway, all excited as if a pick up is somehow better in the snow. within 5 seconds he spun out an hit the median right behind me. I actually had to speed up or he would have hit the back of my car in his spin. brand new silverado. sad.

Good tips Thanks for not going that bmw way Very true that the worst part of winter driving is that there are other (slow) idiots that possibly are still be doing the best driving they can - so lets just keep calm and try to sympathize. Get winter tires and leave larger gap between you and car in front. Also play with the car to know how ESP works on your car(meaning with some cars it let's you to oversteer and drive with throttle but others just understeer) But tires are the most important thing. I drove Cayman R as daily with studded winter tires in Finland.
