They are actually very close. A early Gallardo does 12. 4 at 116 mph in the quarter mile while a v8 R8 does 12. 6 at 113 mph. The r8 v8 climbs rpms a lol faster and also has a better launch. The Gallardo has a bit more power. In reality expect the R8 to dyno 340 awhp and the Gallardo to hit 390 awhp. This is why they are so close. If they launched at the same time instead of the Lambo getting the jump and the Lambo had the 100 lb heavier driver. peobally dead even with slight edge to the r8

I personally would use Vvivid brand wrap. The 3M is more expensive, but that doesn't make it superior. The 3M tends to leave visible glue lines under the film (those won't disappear with heat or time. The 3M also doesn't have the same stretching quality as Vvivid; IMO. Same lifespan across both vinyls (5-7 years, same warranty across both also. However, it is ultimately your car, your choice. but just wanted to give you something to consider.

Dude there is launch control on the R8, 100% on yours Check the manual but basically sports mode, esp off, break flat + accelerator flat. boom
