Why I Own 200, 000+ in Cars but NOT A HOUSE. Carl Dameron: As a former finance man you obviously understand money. As you want to grow your business youll find bank like hard assets as collateral like property. The house I bought for 86k in 92 is now worth 300k and my mortgage is done My payment was 620 a month. Now I can rent rooms or lease the house for 1800 a month. I moved to another city for a year and rented the house made money and deducted all repairs. So buy a house with FHA 3% down and rent out rooms. You will live there for free. Also you build equity. Want to move? Rent the house with a property management firm and keep making money. Because my mortgage was so low I traveled got married, raised kids and bought cool cars. I believe you can make more money with a house, now that you have established your income source.

If you want to save up as well as purchase a house you should buy an investment property and youll end up being ahead even more so than renting a room on the cheap. My first property is a 3 family and I lived on one floor. One renter would pay the mortgage and the other would be profit. Now that I have built my own house and rent all three apartments that property pays for itself and also pays my current mortgage. Then down the line I always have an extra revenue source and if Im ever in a bind I can sell it and pull out my equity which is a lot because I bought my house right after 2008 and its value has doubled since then

Hey mateAlways love hearing about your goals and smart(and silly) financial decisions. I used to have similar goals for a boutique dealership but they have changed recently as my mindset has changed. It is still something I'd love to create but I have rearranged priorities for the moment. If you haven't seen or heard, check out my favourite dealership in Sydney Australia - Scuderia Graziani. I now live on The Gold Coast, Australia and there is nothing up here that is similar to SG so who knows, maybe in the future, it'll be on the cards

Some people might think thats an uneducated decision but I agree with the fact that you don't have a house is because with a house, you not only have to pay for all the bills such as electricity or water but with cars, you can have entertainment, a radio (which is your exhaust) and you can also travel in it. Not the fact that you have to buy gas and everything but forget that. Lastly, you made a good decision because you can't exactly buy a house with 200k. (That's a matter of opinion from where I live) Keep up the great videos

I understand your goal. But think about it. If you waited those years just the get your lamb. 5 more years of hustling with the money you got. Like you claim. You could buy a house in state where they are cheap. Fix it. ND sell it for more money. Do that a couple of times nd next thing you know you can buy 5 more of those lambos. I love your cars tho. I'm looking forward on a r8 for my future car.

I'm about to buy a house, yet I completely agree with you. I'd much rather own a nice car than a nice house, so the house will be as cheap as possible. Only reasons I'm getting it are so I can a) have a garage where I can install a lift and work on cars, and b) work on the house itself (I love renovation projects. If I could rent and still get that, I probably would.

Both have advantages. When you 'rent', you're renting the SPACE - it's flexible & the money you didn't put into a house can earn interest in other asset classes. When you 'buy', you're actually renting MONEY - housing is more stable & you can write off the interest from the loan on your taxes, but giveup mobility & interest you could've earned elsewhere.

So thats how you shoot flames out a Lamborghini. I actually saw a Volkswagen like a 2003. i was racing it in a 2005 Hyundai Santa and as soon as my car started building up speed flame shot out his pipe and I didnt see him anymore. Ive raced heavily modded eclipse and Hondas. Even a Mazda Miata. I kept up with all of those cars. The Volkswagen though.
