We're travelling on a winter's morning from Singen in Germany to Glattbrugg in Switzerland with a loaded Kerosene (Jet fuel) train, destined for Zrich airport. On the way we'll be passing between the two countries 3 times, as visable on the map. Singen is the official boarder station, meaning that the infrastructure has been made to allow trains with a Swiss pantograph and safety equipement to travel the 10 kilometres on German soil following Thayngen. The 8 kilometres of track passing through Germany before Schaffhausen belongs to the Swiss network. Please note, the camera stopped recording shortly before Rafz, prompting me to insert a recording from a subsequent trip during summer for the few minutes of missing footage

In the 44: 03 minute of the video there is a cut in the recording in front of the stop of a red light signal. The sky is almost completely clear. When the video resumes in the 44: 11 minute the sky continues to appear clear, but nevertheless a certain amount of snow appears between the rails of the train tracks, although it is not possible that it could have snowed. What time interval has elapsed during that cut? A few hours, a full day? It is the strangest thing I've seen.

Excellent video! Looking already forward to future videos.
I've a question to this particular line from Germany to Switzerland: isn't it confusing changing from right to left track as main track and signals corresponding to your track on the right side in Germany and on the left side in Switzerland? At Herblingen e. g. there are even the Swiss signals corresponding to your track on the right side.
And how smooth is the transition between the different systems?

Com'on Lorirocky! The route is so beautiful, but the quality of the video is not the proper one. 1080p is not today the best. Your camera also makes trembles and the viewing is not so comfortable. I suggest you strongly to move to a better format, like 4K with a GoPro 7 or the newest 8. Thank you for the rides anyway!

I live in a remote region in Western Australia where the closest train is over 1100 kms away and I never been on one or ever traveled outside of Australia. But after seeing your vids I feel like I have. I would love to visit Germany and ride your trains. Thanks for sharing.

That house on the left at 18: 48 is still Germany although a few seconds earlier we crossed the border. The border is between the railwayline and house; after the house the border directly moves away from the track.

What we call switching takes priority over the mainline freight at the tanklager. That's interesting. I'm impressed the small engine can pull that many tank cars. Thanks for the ride.

When you come to a junction I ALWAYS CHECK to see if the train is gonna change tracks, DO YOU FIND Yourself checking if your gonna change? Or do you just TRUST the track planners?
