Sneaking my train through the neighborhood in Oslo in the pale moon light. This is the second part of my shift from the previous video: After arriving at Alnabru in the last video I have a couple of hours before I start on the trip back to l. This train goes via the Alna freight track between Alna and Grefsen where it joins the Gjvik Line heading into Maridalen and Nordmarka. When we arrive at Roa station we spur off to the Gjvik Line and onto the Roa - Hnefoss Line where you'll se a bunch of new signals being put up. These signals are for the new signalling system called ERTMS where all optical signals will be replaced with in cab visual systems. The Roa - Hnefoss line is the test line for the new ERTMS Level 2 Baseline 3 release 2 by Alstom. The true start of the Bergen Line is at Hnefoss where we'll be running through Hallingdalen to l which is at 436m above sea level. We'll be running with the moon behind us shining up the landscape and you'll see the flashes from the overhead wire because of frost

Hi! How are you?
Korea/Seoul has been showing early summer weather since yesterday. And a new week has begun again. I hope you have a week of health and good things together.
And please show your interest and love for SEASON 2, which will start anew this Friday, the 15th. Let me know if you have a better idea.
Thank you very much.

Hello again, I understand that you are the only person on the freight trains that you drive, that you have no guard, no motorman. What would happen if, God forbid, you fell ill, who would help you, who would call for assistance, especially when you were out in the remote countryside?

Nice to see the signalling system uses a lot of unnecessary flashing to shorten the life of bulbs and wear them out prematurely. Not only does this raise the maintenance costs it has the added benefit of introducing lots of unsafe conditions by the number of blown bulbs.

I've just finished travelling this entire trip with you, thanks for sharing. A great video I'm eagerly waiting for the next one to come out! I was wondering if you have homes in Bergen, Al and Oslo, or if you stay in hotels when you are staying over in those 3 places?

How difficult is to get train drivers job in Norway for a train driver from another country?
I guess Norse language will be needed, but would english be enough ( I know pretty everyone in Norway speaks english but would it be enough )

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS VIDEO OVER THREE HOURS LONG? Can't edit down the time, still giving a relaxing video? NO STORY BOARD SKILLS, CAN'T PARE DOWN A SCRIPT YOU CAN'T WRITE? SO WHAT'S THE EXCUSE? All the lovely praising comments?

Nice Clip again: )
I have a question - cant these pantograph ice-arc flashes cause negative side effects? i mean do you ever get dizzy or seasick when you have to drive and look outside during these conditions?

the pressure in my sinuses is higher than the pressure on the bottom of the ocean right now. I'm so happy about your night videos. They always keep me great company while dozing in the dark.
