Mid Hants Railway - 2016 Spring Steam Gala

The weather on the first two days of the Gala was so wet I stayed at home, but on the third day the sun came out, so I loaded the camera equipment into the car and set off for what turned out to be a most enjoyable day filming trains. There were two visiting engines - Maunsell Q Class No. 30541 and LSWR T9 No. 30120, the rest were from the home fleet - LMS Black 5 No. 45379, SR West Country Class No. 34007 -Wadebridge-, LMS Ivatt 2MT Class No. 41312, BR Standard Class 9F No. 92212 and SR Schools Class No. 925 -Cheltenham

Some interesting angles, I like the angle at 9: 28 from the Milk Dock at Alresford. Very vigorous performance by 30541 through Ropley with the freight!

We are in shot at 4. 41 just by the T9. We did the Friday for atmosphere and Sunday for dry. Saturday was Reading model Engineers! Superb!
