Having spent three wonderful days enjoying the railways and mountains around Star- Smokovec it was time to catch the meter gauge train for the last time to Poprad-Tatry where our Grumpy diesel was waiting to take our group on a mystery tour of little used secondary and branch lines back to Bratislava where 10 days earlier our amazing Railway Touring Company tour of Slovakia began. Our driver kindly allowed me to place a camera in the locomotive driving cab to share his view of the attractive countryside with the ever present High Tatra Mountains dominating the skyline. the view normally reserved for the locomotive crew for the first part of our journey to Bratislava between Poprad-Tatry and Liptovsk- Mikul

Hi Tim, if you remember me at the beginning of the year when we talked about 3kV DC vs 25kV AC and the specifics of Slovak railways? -
And also electronic problems in general? -
I start carier as locomotive driver (for the next 6-8 months in training) in ZSSK company: -) I decided so a few months ago.

ha Tim, when you gonna film on 4K? its amazing to see. i have it. i must only buing now the 4K webcam from logitech and one big 4K monitor from samsung. lol. ---

40: 10 before you meet the first eastbound train! Could do with an external mic picing up the locomotive noise - the cabs are well soundproofed.
