My sister and I took the equivalent of this route in 2010 after arriving from Sardegna and Corsica by overnight ferry. We waited almost the whole day for the tracks to be cleared of flood damage. We made it to Nice for our flight back to the US. Gorgeous scenery, as you show here.

There is just 4 train in a day for Marseille-St Raphael but, The 1st class TGV is most economic than 2nd class TER to go to Nice
