Hey, you should try trains in Norway. They are fast, quiet, and in the area around the capital, they are very modern. We have long distance trains from the capital, which go north or eastwards, or even to Sweden, and we have FLIRT trains in Norway as well! The first class is called -NSB Comfort-. I really recommend trying trains here.

So I have almost watched all your Videos and I really like your style of the review. I'm interessted in how the trains in other European countrys look like. I hope that one day you will take a closer look at German trains like the ICE or the EC.

Good video! Unfortunately, the comfort of the 1st Class for this type of TGV in particular is not very satisfactory, the comfort of the 1st Class looks very much like that of the 2nd Class. Too bad. --

This second refurbishment, was really useless because they were disbar very few years later, the first renovation between 1996 and 2001 was sufficient. It was a waste of money.

Love these trains! The refurbishment was great. Our german ICE trains are not so old but now like crap because of saving money on maintenance and service.

Am I right that there is no catering at all on Paris - Lille (via Dunkirk at that) in first class/any class?

I rode a TGV in 1st class from Gare du Nord Paris to Strasbourg a few Summers ago. It was amazing.

Nice trip report it's a shame they scrap the oldest tgv only a few years after refurbishing them
reply

SNCF is going to scrap that TGV but at least they will use the TGV's parts for new trains!

I wonder if I'll see this beauty in the scrapyard of Culoz.
Great video!
