From USA.
I always wanted to take this train. Didn't see the price display.
Nice video.
But the biggest drawback is typed sentences didn't stay long enough to read completely. Also one would like to watch the video at the same time too. Or the video should play at a slower pace. Thank You.

I wonder if izy owns an old e300 is it possible that they could potentially be able to operate to London. I-m just saying this as a possibility and I doubt they would do it but that train is capable of it right? After all it was used by Eurostar.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may love the purple and green, but to me it looks like the Jokers train. An attack on the senses and a TRUE fashion faux pas. I suppose it's an ok train for a broke kid to ride but as for me. HARD PASS.
reply

How many sets were save by Izy? Glad they are finding use by someone else. Especially today with greener long distance travel is being pushed. I think the ones that were scrapped/left to rot, is a waste of a reusable resource.
reply

sacre bleu this train is so tacky. like a french las vegas - striped seats, florescent green, squeaking and rattling, glass doors - who designed this? gaultier? the windows are too big and without curtains too.
reply

It really is a shame that IZY stopped operating! The Thalys service is so overcrowded! Hopefully they will replace the old PBA/PBKA fleet in a few years with the new Avenida Horizon Duplex stock!
reply

I actually quite liked your video but more so you commentary. Im thinking of going from Brussells to Berlin but I want to spoil myself and treat myself to first class. Is it worth it? How expensive?
reply

It would and wouldn't be surprising to me if Hornby's next OO/HO scale Eurostar run (after the Yellow submarine Eurostar) would be this IZY Eurostar. Honestly it wouldn't be a bad fit.
reply

in Vietnam, you have to pay for approx. 55 Euros for a trip about that distance with a blazing speed of 65 kph, and the interior of those trains look like they were from the 50s'
reply

Which site did you use to book? There are many -official- sites on the web, I don't know which is scam or overpriced? I see Paris to Brussel about 90- now in 2 weeks booking.
reply

Don't know about France but in Austria eating hot and smelly food in Public transport is frowned upon. But since there's less and less restaurant cars I basically understand it.
reply

What do these French designers always think when choosing cloth over leather seats, even our regional trains have leather seats, and in France/Belgium not even the TGV uses them.
reply

I'm surprised they already scrapped so many Eurostar trains. After all they're not that old. German ICE 1 trains were built in 1991 and are supposed to run another 10 years.
reply

I think Thalys and Eurostar should combined there operations and become one company because then there would be a lot more services to more destinations
reply

Stickers on a 300 km/h train. Lol. As for the headrest I always put part of my jacket over it. Imagine how many people who left their head sweat on it.
reply

I really miss this service. I hope low-cost direct services return soon on this route.
Much needed for broke people like me. -

reply

Oh yes! this is my train tu brussels, what a memories! thank you. such times! full of joy and cafes full of smoke, wine and songs
reply

Wow the amazing old, Eurostar'' the true Eurostar ---France has the best Trains on the World -- The ICE is not so pretty -But is OK -
reply

Donc tu est en train de me dire que on peut avoir une 1er classe pour 30 - et que sncf vend le plus souvent a 100---
reply

It's a shame they didn't save some of them in England. Could have used them as a budget service. No frills.
reply

damn lucky people, I will always prefer the old eurostars above the new uncomfortable boring siemens
reply

Great value. It-s insane how much you have to pay for a ticket between Amsterdam and Brussels
reply

Good to see not all the old eurostar trains went to scrap or just left to rot and I love waffles
reply

8: 00 yes, because it's always a good idea to stick your fingers in the power socket.
