With the mist lifting on a warm still morning we catch the first train on the last operating day of 2015. The train crew are very friendly; keen we should enjoy their railway on this wonderful autumn day. We start climbing through autumn gold woods with shafts of sunshine breaking through the leaf cover creating an almost magical atmosphere, before passing through a series of tunnels, between which the line is perched on a narrow ledge, with occasional stunning views over the lake far below. We pass the tree line onto the rugged mountainside for more dramatic vistas across deep valleys and snow covered peaks. Take a seat and enjoy one of the most outstanding rides in Switzerland. The railway is 7. 6 kilometres (4. 7 mi) long and the track gauge is 800 mm (2 ft 7 1 2 in) Filmed - 25 October 2015

It's a shame. Why did you skip the trips through the tunnels? I always find these tunnel routes interesting. You can see the construction and the rock formations inside the mountain. And it gives the ride a good atmosphere. No, it's not boring. I don't understand why the journey through the tunnels is always shortened. I would like to experience the trip in full length.
Too bad the film is good, but I give it a negative rating.

Emotions are mightier than oceans or elephants. We are a slave of our habits which form over long period of time. To change is a more difficult process. You must have noticed this around. You sre blessed to have green engineering in your latitude. May you have much more. Time is a very under recognized resource. Its not just govt or education that can help because. I shall tell you next, If we meet on these grounds.

Sorry, did not know the drivers position. Yes the view is awesome. love natural surroundings. less people. And interferences. Here we are high on engineering too. I know it does not feel comfortable if we are checked on OUR OVER INDULGE. ITS TO BE IN OTHER VIDEOS OR OTHER TIMES. But, I have less time and believe that we need attention towards green engineering.

Hi, this video is so beautiful and relaxing! Thank you for taking the time to upload it and respond to many comments even years after. I was just wondering if I could possibly use part of it in a video I am hoping to make? I would, of course, give all credit to your video. No worries if not possible. Thanks a lot, have a nice day!

What a climb up and my ears were popping. This was a great video of a very beautiful place. God's country for sure. Okay now you are at the top how do you get back down? Please tell me that you don't make the trip in reverse. I would need a helicopter. Going down would be a roller coaster.

These are very barren and desolate looking mountains, don't they have any critters or trees or deer. I don't see any good reason to build a railroad there. Thanks for the ride though, it was nice down in the valley.
