Who would think that a train trip would cover country that looks just like where I live halfway around the world. We even have a local train with tracks that follow much of the highway. This is the only way I could ever see Austria. Beautiful country! From North Carolina, USA.

These are really very nice pictures of my favourite narrow gauge railway. And as I see with pleasure, the E2 is active again. This was not the case in April 2019 - the last time I was there - yet.
Thank you very much for these beautiful pictures.

WOW! Another few weeks, and the scenery would have changed from plain beautiful, to stunning.
Reminds me why I love Austria so much.
Thanks, Tim. Hope it wasn't too uncomfortable, strapped to the front of that loco. ;o)

Excellent video. My Air Force family lived in England from '63 to '66 and we toured this area in the summer of '65. Did not know this was there at the time. Wish we could have taken a ride. Thanks for the pleasant journey!

I'm sorry, I was looking to get into the high country! Scenery was great, but I'm looking for the 100 - 200 foot giants! Of course they have all been turned to stone, but there are thousands of them!

Nice videos Tim. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled on most of the Swiss trains, but I have only ever been up the front once. Your videos bring back many fond memories.

I've never seen rails that narrow before. Seems like that would really limit speeds going around curves but I guess it was never meant to go fast.

Hi Tim - fascinating. Without the industrial revolution we'd never have trains and would miss out on this unique way of seeing the world! Ciao
