There are few things more beautiful to a railfan than seeing a dirty steam locomotive pulling a matching set of passenger cars at track speed.
Seriously, I absolutely love how they let 1225 get a little dirty for this shoot, it really does feel like watching Berkshires in their prime - even the landscape and buildings along the line look exactly like the routes that these Berkshires used to roam on the PM and NKP.

When I was little (7-11) years old I was outside with my cousin (8-12) at night and we heard a steam train wistle and the steam train drove by on a abandoned train track. It was so scary becouse we never saw a steam train in real life
