I love both of these people. Yes, they can be a bit too harsh for most, but they are so passionate about helping people and giving them a well-needed nudge to take care of themselves! I owe my improving health to both Freelee and Durian Rider. I have been carbing up and I feel AMAZING. I'm losing weight WITHOUT RESTRICTING CALORIES. No animals products+high carbs+ low fat= energy and health! I have been eating raw vegan for almost a month and the changes are insane! I'm happier, more energized, less stressed, and don't crave junk food at all! This lifestyle is life changing! My body has been put through so much crap. Eating disorders, tons of junk food, crazy calorie restriction (under 500 cals a day) and extreme exercise. My body was damaged from years of treating it like shit and now I finally feel like I'm becoming the best version of myself by following the lifestyle that Freelee and Durian Rider are promoting. Wake up, people! They have the answer to great health and vitality!

First, I'm a vegan as of 1 month ago, and I'm not thinking about going back, but I'm very skeptical about the whole High carb bit (which I am currently following but on a much lower caloric intake. I don't understand how you can be eating as much as you say you are and doing as little exercise as you say you do. For a person who burns through lets say 2500 calories a day including relatively vigorous exercise, how can you be eating 3000 calories a day and not be getting fat? You say it's because you dont eat muc fat, but as a biochemistry student I've come to understand that an excess of glucose in the body leads to fat storage. Also, you say every cell runs on glucose, but every cell is made of protein and fat, so surely by this logic, you should be eating an equal amount of each energy source in order to continually replace the cells in your body as your body naturally does. Please explain!

I think one reason D. R. comes off as arrogant is that he assumes anyone not sticking with 80/10/10 is frequenting Pizza Hut, etc. There are lots of things in between. Not everything is black and white; you make that clear yourselves by admitting people have to do what works for them-- using refined sugar at times, vegan burritos, etc. So don't sound so harsh. It does turn people off. Another assumption you two always make is that fruit tastes better than anything. I personally LOVE the taste of lentils and cucumbers, which you mentioned, and would rather eat that for dinner the rest of my life than lots of sweet smoothies and fruits. Some people just don't enjoy sweet things as much as you seem to. .. although I know you don't eat RawTill4 only for the taste.

The problem is people associate sugar with weight gain. Yep sugar will make you fat. Certain sugars that is. Refined sugar like Coke and Pepsi, sugar in coco pops and rice bubbles will make you fat. Shit like Ice cream, and packaged lollies will make you fat and give you diabetes and the rest of it. Fruit will not, potatoes will not. Vegan Pizza will not. Sugar bound up in fiber is fantastic for you and will strip you of fat, not promote your body to store it. If it grows out of the ground, just eat it. Don't think about how many carbs are in it, don't think about how many calories are in it, just put it in your mouth. Mother nature is far superior to 'man made' technology.

Been vegan for a month now: ) yes I have gotten a bit bigger, I am now counting calories and making sure I get 2000 and it is a struggle to pack it in! I had no idea how much more I should be eating in order to be healthy! So that I can have better mental, physical and emotional health.
I am prepared to wait for the fit body I want. In the meantime I'm feeling good, can breathe more deeply, my sight has improved, toilet problems gone, self esteem improved as I don't have violence in my life now and feel happier about who I am. Thank you xox

my mom literally nags me all the time about eating so much on a raw vegan diet. she tells me I'm eating too much fruit and rice when I try explaining the whole calorie dilute things with plants she starts arguing calories in calories out. I pretty much go hungry all the time because she gets mad when I eat all the fruit she buys in one day (because she'll only buy a couple apples, two boxes of strawberries, a watermelon, and one bunch of bananas. that is NOT enough for the week

Wish I could eat all you eat. its now 2 pm in eastern US and I have had one Banana today. not starving yet. but checked the scale and I have lost ONE pound. Excellent! I do feel much better. never will stop at Mc Donalds for a burger ever again. I would rather eat an apple to a burger. so sounds better. Hows this. wild animals need protein and have big muscles. where does this come from? eating GRASS! They don't eat people? So. I'm changing my ways. love you guy!

I am so so happy and impressed to see you guys uploading and uploading despite the ignorance you get on your videos.
I take so much inspiration from them. Not just food related but in terms of attitude, self-love and confidence. Obviously all of these are related and you guys remind me of this again and again. Thank you soooo much xx
