Serious question for anybody who knows. I'm thinking of going raw til 4, only recently went vegan. When freelee mentioned fruit orchard in this video it reminded me of when I was a kid living at my grandparent's house in Florida for a year. They had orange and grapefruit trees in the backyard. One day I went crazy in the orchard drinking tons of grapefruit juice just grabbing them and cutting them in half. That night I threw up once every 20 minutes for 8 hours straight, it was TERRIBLE! I couldn't eat a grapefruit for about 13 years after that! Is it only grapefruits in large quantities that do this? Haha, thanks anyone who can answer

Hey there, I'm not sure what beans and legumes you speak of (term may be different in Australia) but the ones I'm thinking of a low in carbohydrates and high in protein and highish in fat. I focus on eating the calories that help me look and feel my best aka carbohydrates so foods like that I keep to an absolute minimum. A few times a week no worries as a small side but just keep the main focus of all your meals high carb, low fat, low protein: ) This can all be worked out at chronometer(dot)com

I eat what I feel like eating: D
If I go raw all day and have fruits for every meal, so be it. If I go raw all day and have a salad at the end for dinner, I will. And if I want a cooked meal or snack incorporated into my day, by golly I'm gonna have some beans or potato!
I don't like being extremely strict and limiting to myself, because then I won't be happy and doom myself to fail. Part of health is happiness and finding that middle ground: ) find where you are comfortable.

Im working on my diet and calorie intake and I find myself getting full really quickly, I eat apples bananas oatmeal, smoothies, veggies, rice and pasta on occasion, but I only get in about 1600 calories a day, Im scared to get anymore because I think Ill gain weight. As a student, I don't have much time to exercise, I am like doing about 15 minutes intense ab workout everyday, fidgeting all day long and lifting 2 kilo weights in each arm while studying. But am I active enough to be able to follow a fullyraw or rawtill4 lifestyle indulging so many calories and still lose weight?

looks like someone is rationalising their cooked food addiction. White refined carbs whether it be rice, wheat or potatoes are binge foods for me. Fruit is just as easy to get as cooked starches. Always remember that the mind rationalises what it is addicted to whether you are a functional or a binge addict.

My wife and I sometimes make our own bread. Gluten-free is a bit more difficult to do, but possible, especially if you can get a no-gluten bread flour mix. That way, you can just skip the salt. We use whole wheat flour, and I have no idea what Freelee would say about that. ?
