My Drunk Kitchen Response video (myharto) Diabetes + smoothie Amanda: I've had type 1 for 16 years. I have noticed over the years that my blood sugars definitely run higher on the days that I eat more fat. When I have a low blood sugar I will drink juice and then eat some peanut butter to help sustain it. My A1C has been awesome for the past 5 years due to being a vegetarian and exercising pretty much every day 9 (5. 9 last month. And people, she didn't claim her diet cured Type 1! I wish there was a known cure for this disease as it affects every aspect of my health, but my best days are when I eat more fruits and veggies. Thank you Freelee for having such a passion for health and animals (I cannot bare to watch those slaughter house videos.

I've watched a lot of your videos over the years, and at first you seemed really really extreme so I kind of disregarded it. However, the more I watch, the more sense you make and I really want to make health changes for myself for the better. Living in the south in America, it's hard to be a vegan or a vegetarian without there being some social stigma to be honest (especially as a broke college student, but I think I will definitely try my best to stick to it. Thanks for all the information and truth!

This video makes me sad for so many reasons, but that echidna is obviously scared of Freelee and her dog, its going into a defensive position and who could blame it? it makes me so sad that Freelee claims that she loves animals but doesn't know anything about them, and is stressing that one out, and on top of that her dog could get seriously hurt, animals should be appreciated in a manor that is safe for them and you

I'm vegan and type 1 diabetic. I stay away from some fruits, but I've learned how to manage a healthy high carb diet. It's possible, but no diabetics are the same, you have to see what works for you. You just have to work a little harder, but believe me, I feel great. Off course I still have very bad days, it's not always possible to control your blood sugar. :) Love, Julia from Denmark.

When my brother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 6 years ago, he changed his life. He eats everything in moderation and virtually no sugar. You know what? He's still insulin dependent. There is no controlling it in my opinion. You learn to manage it and most people will still have to take insulin regardless of what they eat. This video upset me - every body is different!

Your not a doctor and you don't have diabetes so shut up lady. My best friends does and I would know that whatever the hell u are saying isn't right. So please. Please just stop. If you were a qualified doctor or had diabetes then I wouldn't be saying anything. But your not so stop putting a videos that are rude, disrespectful, and offensive

I've had type one diabetes for 16 years, I'm 19. This video really annoyed me, Hannah and her sister are lovely, why does this women feel the need to criticise people just for views, it's pathetic, I'm all for people being healthy and good on her for doing so, but just let other people live their lives the way they want.

P. s if you ever want any help interpreting a study I am very happy to help. I'm a vegan and you have helped me improve my diet considerably. I meant no disrespect with my previous comment. I only want to make the science transparent as I'm sure you want to as well.

Cool, my chances of type 1 diabetes must be pretty low then. As a baby I only had breast milk and non dairy baby formula (dairy made me spew) and continued to have soy milk until I was about 3 when dad got sick of the price. Never liked diary, am now vegan
