Street Talk #1: Asking Strangers on the street about Veganism

We went out to the streets and interviewed people on veganism, what they thought of it and would they ever go Vegan? Interesting stuff. Ma: I dont know if this is too much for a first question: Did you know that around 91% of the rainforest is being destroyed for animal agriculture and the rainforest is like the lungs of the earth. What do you think about that?
Or maybe point at the fact that vitamin b12 actually comes from bacteria in the soil
How about: where do you think animals get their protein from?
The strongest animals such as rhinos, elephants, gorillas; are they herbivores, omnivores or carnivores?
Did you know as a vegan you would have a lower carbon footprint and save a part of the environment every day? You have the ability to better this planet on a daily basis and act selfless for other beings. Do you believe that selfless good actions eventually come back to you? Do you believe in karma?
I don't know, I hope these are okayish questions: -P

See Freelee doesn't understand that some people literally can not be vegan/vegetarian. I was vegetarian for 8 months. I made sure I ate tons of protein and literally logged and calculated everything to make sure I was healthy. About 4 months in I started not being able to digest anything. I would throw up every meal (unintentionally. I even took daily B12 pills. But nope, I have an actual condition were my body so easily gets sick and without meat it just can't handle being productive. Don't let her bully you into being vegan. I'm sure for some it is a very healthy choice but for people like me it just becomes unbearable.

I've actually had someone tell me I was unhealthy for going vegan, and this person smokes like a chimney and drinks to the point of complete intoxication almost everyday lol. Yet, I'm unhealthy for eating only fruits and veggies. I couldn't believe it.

This is a good form of activism. These are bad questions.
Youre leading people with your questions and asking them yes or no questions. Thats not a good way to open dialog nor to bring to the surface people's true mental blocks regarding veganism.

hi freelee, when was the last time you got a stomach virus or got feeling sick to your stomach? I get that all the time & im curious if going vegan would help or if it's just my anxiety that makes my stomach feel bad.

Good work Freelee. More street activism please. I think it could be effective asking people if they're against cruetly to animals and then get them to see the contradiction between their beliefs and their actions.

You know what I love about this video? You are doing nothing, but asking QUESTIONS. It's a brilliant way to make people think, instead of coming with waves of facts or blaming people. Huge respect!

He said you don't know how long the fruits and vegetables have been on the shelf for.
How long has the wine you've been drinking been in the cellar bra

the lady in the white shirt was so open to veganism! I liked how you informed nonvegans about veganism, even though it was probably super awkward.

Freelee, are you doing these kind of interviews any more? You're such an awesome interviewer and spokeswoman for veganism!
