I like your approach. I left Toronto and now live in a small spa town in Hungary close to the Romanian border. I appreciate the desire to find a natural life. This approach is normal and traditional here. I have a garden and can get all natural food in the local market. Can live well on CDN 1, 000 monthly. The house is made of Adobe and uses little energy. It is a great life.

Good on you taking on a project yourself. Problem-solving skills are essential with your intended lifestyle, so it's never a bad idea to practice them.

Would it kill this guy to stop looking for berries and go look for wildflowers with his girl? He-s always doing what he wants. Always dictating what-s being done and when and how and where. He loves to hear himself talk and loves being on camera. One day This chick will eventually realize she-s been isolated by a narcissist and will want to get away.

Strawberry plants are only good for 3 years. The first a D second years remove the runners then the third year let runners grow and pin the new plants down until roots grow then cut runner remove old plant and replace with the new plant. You do this each year by third of a bed with plants in each third from a different year. Good luck with it all.

LOL- off grid living, lol. These people do not want to work so they pretend to live off grid. Ask you for money so they can continue not working. Plus U-tube pays them. Keep supporting them, send them money. Believe the lie that they live here. With the money they are getting they no doubt have a couple of homes.

Nicole. If you want to recycle vegetables and green waste all you need are some rocks that can be picked to form a container. Even paper and cardboard broken down is good to recycle. They also make a great ground cover in the garden for strawberries and other plants.

I never knew there was more than one type of raspberry! I used to pick all the wild black cap raspberries near Lake Eerie every summer when I was a kid. I always thought the raspberries at the grocery store weren't ripe. Lol
