I wouldn't say so. It seems that there's just a way large difference between genders here, so this is good for getting the women enthusiastic about this 'sport'. If they excel in the women's category and do well there and reaching up towards the males scores, she can take it from there. This is to make things equal for each gender, separately

Football, tennis, competitive eating. If you consider this peculiar thing sport, it's entirely normal. What are your thoughts on the separation of genders in what is undeniably a sport? This isn't a crutch, its equality in comparing themselves to people with similar physique, just like there are weight groups in wrestling

Nope. It'd be silly to even compare the two gender in matters like this. At least how it is now, with so few females. It allows them to be involved in competition and get win, even if its only against other females
