This sounds wise but soon the minds of the majority of us old and young will shrink. Computers are our brains, so why think. This is an old adult not my daughter who loves artificial intelligence. what about investing in people who are already here first. We canvassed for you, we prayed for you and you kicked us away. I still pray for you but I am sore hurt. Mentally ill are not part of your social structure. There would be toxic leisure time if machines take over that only about 10% of our population would work. when these computers take over would they be diagnosing illness instead doctors. The human mind would be obsolete, we soon be zombies. We still need God. You are a good person. Minds( not dumb as mine) think and create post modern cities. Too much spare time and unlimited unemployment or employment that does not engage the mind, can lead to out of control crime. Have a balance please. God will not let you eliminate me. I love you, I like advancement in technology' but let us have a look at over all opportunity cost. I am uneducated, but look at job losses and leisure time artificial minds affords most, even your children's opportunity. would it not feed boredom. People who are vocal as me they try to eliminate, the Lord says. This is my daughter's profile, but are sharon's words. I have free agency we think differently than she due to our generation gap. You are doing a lot of good. Older people who worked at odd jobs are write off. We are obsolete stock. Yes invest in young people. I have children and I am thankful for the opportunity they are given however Older people like myself need a chance too. yes a robot wont strike, or need overtime only the upkeep cost is needed. when humans stop using their muscles their health care cost will be astronomical. Humans were made to work after Adam sinned work kept form more problems, it was a form of social control. Seek Godly wisdom on the progress of this venture your our children can suffer.

Do a cost benefit analysis and come to a conclusion. what percentage of the population would benefit. What kinds of work would become obsolete. we still need the factory worker. It gives that person money and a sense of dignity, exercise while working, a social support system of fellow workers either directly or indirectly, a change of scenery. Look how many Royal Bank workers are loosing jobs. Biway went out off business due to a computer system they installed I was told. Due to online shopping a lot of older established business are going bankrupt. Loosing a pay checque(check) and comrodre of coworkers is devastating. Modern technology is a blessing and also a curse. I enjoy youtube but criminals can use it for harm. I am illiterate but experience is also a teacher think of the greater good. Bring more immigrants after those here get the jobs they can do and the immigrants come and their skill sets are not inflated and far substandard or superior to what was presented on the application. If they get no job it can be devastating to them and here. I do not know how to use a cellular telephone, nor am I computer literate. I have forgotten the mechanics of writing sentences nevertheless I have seen technologies blessings in learning and in globalization but I have seen the job loss it causes, the sickness it causes and the crime it has the potential to cause. always weigh the cost. out of love for people and a deep love for Canada and Canadians.

Con: Computation or anything to do with these forms of glitchy architecture, is the new kid at the school phenomenon, a university historically relates to the information and communication sector, the Internet of things is just a single complex that doesn't need to exist for dealings of national importance. IT'S A RIP OFF, like burning a cd to the music industry.

Lol I skipped forward to 18 minutes and lo and behold, it's a politically charged one sided debate about immigration and attacking the United States. Get politics out of google, get politics out of technology, and in 2019 get this goof out of government!

My whole idea is AI is apart of american Studies, Canadian culture just jogs through life and that type of intensive rsearch should be left to the USA. Where tech gurus are not Canadian but a USA export

Just curious NY times are your CEO s also using the off shore banking and holding companies to stash your money like this POS traitor just curious if you guys are avoiding your taxes as well

Also why is a failed teacher and failed snowboard instructor talking about AI? The guy is a mouth breathing two-finger-typing quadrupedal knuckle walker. And the A. I. will invent itself.
reply

Pro: In alot ways ai like Watson has broken the language barrier by instanting translating and just wearing communication ear piece, this can get you a goverment job.

Artificial Intelligence is the only hope for Justin Trudeau having any intelligence. I am sure little Justin believes that AI is a prosthetic for what he lacks.
reply

Trudeau and the word intelligence in the same sentence is a contradiction, there aint no common sense or intelligence where this guy is concerned.
