Ive heard multiple times in Benicios movies where he suggests a change in the scene. This movie, sin city(multiple scenes, usual suspects. theyre always my favorite parts of the movies before I find this out and finding it out adds so much more flavor and satisfaction. Del Toro has always been nothing less then an absolute pleasure to watch on screen. Hes so creative with every character it is truly admirable and inspiring to see someone in a profession for countless years and every time you see them work theyre giving it there absolute all.

In this movie where every minute is suspenseful, I found this scene to be incredibly apt- a humanistic backdrop to all the senseless killings. The moment when the deaf man reacts to Alejandro's loss of his daughter man that one shot deserves to get an Oscar! The guy who played the deaf is an amazing actor also.

People that scene is that good not just because of Benicio, give props to Bruno Bichir (plays the deaf dude. I liked the movie BUT. the ending was in my opinion very anticlimactic.
