I Lost My Daughter to Heroin, Can I Start Over With Her Child? Conception Season 2

Her daughter lost her confidence, and then her life to drugs. How does she ensure it wont happen, again - to her granddaughter? Some: I hope this woman told her the truth about her mom's death. Don't just spring this on her some day in the future. Tell her the truth, in the language that's best understood at her current age. Tell her that her mom was addicted to a drug, and that the drug killed her. Allow addiction to be a conversation, and a properly understood one. Keep talking about it as the questions come up, and as she gets older. The worst thing to do is to lie to a kid about why their parent died, and then one day decide they are ready to handle the truth. That will cause much more harm in the long run.

Alot of you don't seem to understand there has been a HUGE crack down. To the point people in pain can't get medication because your never in enough pain. You get medication if your dying or have cancer. I broke my back twice in the same year six months apart and they gave me very little for the pain.
I have an autoimmune disease and am in constant pain(not saying every moment I hurt I need pills) but I don't get the option.

Your daughter would not have let you have your granddaughter if you had been a bad mom. Some people have deadly allergies, some people have asthma, and some people have a predisposition to opioid addiction. I would encourage Lilah to seek alternative forms of pain management should she need them, and only accept opioids administered in the hospital.

People can get on heroin at the drop of a dime. No joke like you can go to the hospital for surgery get addicted to pain meds and it can become a spiral. No one is weak you just spiral into it and it takes so much will power and stregthen to get through it and not everyone can make it and its so upsetting

Wow. She might not have died if her child wasn't taken away from her in addition to all this harm she was already dealing with. I know for sure to not leave my child like that, taking the rest of her soul with me. She was a very sick person left to be overwhelmed with everything.

This video was so moving. Such a short video, but it quickly moved me to tears. I hope the mother does not blame herself. There are so many reasons why addiction occurs. I don't want anyone to have to live with that kind of guilt.

God can heal souls any human can't.
In their worst, He'll never leave them to die but we have to reach our hands out for Him and grab our only Salvation and He'll carry us and put us on our feet and guide us to safety.

You know in Europe you can't even get these painkillers, Drs are terrified of causing addiction. They are extremely well regulated and only used in emergency, as they should be because they are extremely addictive.
