Make America Great Again? It was never really that great. It was diabolical what happened to these servicemen. Governments experimenting with their own people. It is a grave atrocity and there should be justice and compensation for these men and their families. If you do not know about Operation paperclip, you should. The US government brought 88 nazi scientists back to America to create the first Atomic bomb. Nuclear Arms need to be wiped off the face of the planet. My question is what Government experiments are they unleashing today upon the American people? It makes me ponder about the possibility of biological warfare. You may think the US government would never do such a thing. Listen to these men and see the look of terror in their faces and you will think differently. The Atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were dropped during Harry Trumans Presidency. A president that is going down in history as one of the greatest leaders of all time. Was he? Or, was he a war criminal?

Semi-serious question: Do you need to relinquish your fundamental human rights to serve active duty? Like, where's that line -being drawn? - Because it seems that these atomic veterans' basic, universal human rights were criminally disregarded, and at a smaller scale, this still happens often to our active-duty sailors, airmen, and soldiers and Marines. These men were prepared to fight for and safeguard our freedoms, and instead, they were privately incinerated by something indescribable, their young, translucent flesh searing and cells baking/mutating while they scrambled for (unfindable) cover, all organized by those We entrusted to train/command and protect them. And hey, I'm obviously not a veteran, but I don't think there's a clause in the contracts they signed that details being _subjected to_ mandatory atom-bomb tests.

My dad was an Atomic Veteran. He died at the age of 43 12/26/84. He told us of how they were allowed and encouraged to swim in lagoons that had been contaminated from previous atomic bombs. My dad was used as a guinea pig also. What is untold is how these atomic bombs changed these men's genetic make up and when they had children like myself, we are experiencing bones deterioration, thyroid issues and even infertility/sterile. I along with my two brothers have deteriorating spines. I have a dead thyroid. The worst was watching my dad live his short life in misery. My dad told us of being told to cover their eyes. He spoke of doing so and feeling as if he had no eyelids, that he could see clean through his arms and see veins and bones. Shame on the Navy!

Think about the shock these men had. Their generation has grown up with movie effects that a low budget CGI film could blow out of the water and on top of that some of them have been on a battlefield. Nobody has ever seen or thought an explosion of that magnitude would be possible at the time. Some of them who served on the field know what the devastation of war has done, imagine what it felt like when they witnessed a weapon that could take out an entire city in a blink of an eye that normally would take a week of carpet bombing campaigns to do. A mile away from ground zero? I'm surprised most of them made it out.

Its funny how the USA is not a collectivist dictatorship like the soviet union, Yet i dont think there is a nation today where the individual is seen AS expendable and worthless as they are in the united states. Dumping radiation, agent orange and whatever on their soldiets.
Telling people to keep working in a pandemic. Land of the free huh? Free from moral concerns, and free from responsibility as a politician allright.

These men were employed by the government, witnessing the most destructive and powerful human invention ever created. Traumatized, shocked, and bewildered after 70+ years! They all sit here in front of a camera to tell us their accounts of what they had seen and realize the horrendous consequences involved with these super-weapons. That to me is undeniably Honorable!

Japanese internment camps, waterboarding at Guantanamo, the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment. I could go on, but these are just a few of the deeply disturbing reasons I'm not surprised by anything the US government does. A true patriot speaks out against these types of atrocities and requires America to be and do better. Anything less is deliberate ignorance.

I remember being at six flags a long time ago where they re-enacted lethal weapon and we were sitting on the benches watching this live show. a big fireball exploded and the mild heat shockwave was incredible. That being said that was just a show! I can only imagine what these guys went through

You can see true horror in their eyes. To be able to see your skeletal structure through your arms and bodies. that blast had to have been as bright and hot as the sun. The government and Military didn't care about these people.
