Were not finished with that storm drain just yet. Theres more sadness (and horror) to be found inside of it in this scene from It Chapter Two, the second installment of the big-screen adaptation of Stephen Kings chilling novel. Here, the character Bill Denbrough (played as an adult by James McAvoy) has found his old bike in the town of Derry, Me, and takes it for a spin. This trip down memory lane leads him on a journey through darker memories, back to the day his younger brother, Georgie, was fatally wounded at a storm drain. In his narration, the director Andy Muschietti discusses the scenes meaning, and how he opted for a visual effects assist to capture one particularly dreadful moment. Read the review here:

I have a theory that pennywise's like Jeepers creepers the creeper you know how what when Georgie was there he said he's coming I feel like when pennywise kills someone and takes them there still a part of him so when he took his form which Bill already knows and means that Georgie actually had a voice pennywise takes a fictional character something that isn't real that someone fears then he has total control over it but if he's doing something like Georgie Georgie asked to come and talk to him

Bill not suspicious at all that Pennywise basically GIVES him the token needed to help destroy him? Even if Pennywise knew the ritual was a farce, Bill thinks its the same boat from 27 years ago? Did Pennywise put it into storage in 1989?

This scene proves that Bill still thinks about Georgia even almost 3 decades later. He still believed that he might have been able to save him if he was there with him when Georgie encountered Pennywise that day.

Wait hold up so your saying that bill is still scared of penny even though he says that he hates him? That alone should make him mad enough where he shouldnt be scared but instead driven mad and blood thirsty

I wasnt as much of a fan of this movie as I was of its predecessor, but this was definitely one of the best scenes in the movie. McAvoy absolutely nailed it O. o
