It's amazing to see this. I also have a type of muscular dystrophy called Extreme Hypotonia. Which is basically me having very little to absolutely no muscle tone throughout my entire body. Throughout my childhood, my mom had to put me through extensive physical therapy just so I would be able to walk on my own and to be independent. I also have had to manage my weight because of my condition, the doctors told my parents that I stored fat lot more easily like an Inuit/Eskimo instead of burning it like I should. We were told that by the time I was 11, I would be confined to a wheelchair. Now at 21, I'm able to walk on my feet with proper shoes and while I'm still progressly getting weaker muscle wise, I'm still able to do almost the same amount of physical activity as everyone else. Strained and sprained muscles, my clumsiness, joint and muscle pains, and stairs are now the only nemeses I have in life.
Thank you for sharing your story with everyone. I hope the both of you have many more years together.

This is amazing. I agree with molah do dhia, who ever raised him, did an awesome job. I'm physically handicapped with Cerebral palsy, married to a wonderful man and have a beautiful job. Some of the questions they get are insulting and really none of their business. I've received a few dumb questions when my child was born. I answered them in a way they will hopefully think before they ask next time. Adorable couple!

How can they fault people for thinking he is her carer, not her boyfriend, when he IS her carer! I thought that having outside the relationship carers was, how to say, recommended, in the disability community? Its gotta be harder to have a healthy relationship, IMO, but what the he'll, I don't know them, best wishes for their happiness.

Her friends and other ppl are not wrong in questioning their relationship, as evolutionary speaking, and as all animal species do, people strive to be with healthy, furtile, and vital partners. When this isnt the case, naturally we question it, as something is probably amiss with the healthier partner choosing the ill one.

Why are some people so evil. Why should they talk Ill about them. Ladies, there are actually good guys still existing. There is true love for everyone. Don-t be afraid leaving a relationship which u are not happy in all because u fear of not getting anyone else
