I'm 90% covered in tattoos - so what? - hooked on the look

A YOUNG MUM who has spent more than $45, 000 on tattoos has hit back at judgemental strangers who treat her like a criminal because of her head-to-toe ink. Tayla Doblie, 23, of Melbourne, Australia, got her first tattoo - a ram and deer design on her thigh - virtually the moment she turned 18. She soon became addicted, and at one point, was getting tattooed as often as once or twice a week. Now, five years and 60, 000AUD ($46, 388) later, she has covered 90 percent of her body. The only places Tayla, whose work has all been done by the same artist, Joshua Westwick, is not inked are her face, palms, and the soles of her feet. Previously, when she went out in public, she attracted mostly positive attention. But in early 2021, she became a mum, welcoming a daughter, Yula, with her partner, Yui, 27. Since then, Tayla has faced much more judgment for her look. Despite the negativity, she has absolutely no regrets. She said: People think we're criminals, or that we're not capable of being parents, but I love all my tattoos. Tayla would like to thank her tattoo artist Joshua Westwick. See more of his work at

I m not a ratio person. But guys u are gorgeous. Live the way that makes u happy. In the end of the day people judge bcz they have the issues of not embrace other's differences.
What people do towards others are theirs not yours.
People who still think that the way they are is the right way. Good for them.
Let them in their illusion.
I m almost 50's and I just love when people have the strenght to be authentic.
That means they are looking after themselves and don't care about others. Congrats

Like so many obsessions and interests in youth, with time, they often wane. If you get tired of skateboarding, coloring your hair, or piercing, you can just stop. However, tattoos are a different story. They are permanent and can impact everything from your dating options, to your career choices, to your economic outlook in the future. Think about it long and hard before you get too many. Think about how you might feel about it when you're 63, not just 23.

No judgement to her, but I don-t think I-d ever get that many tattoos. Primarily because tattoos like those are permanent (or I think I-ve heard you can remove those, but it-s an agonizing process, so it-s basically a one and done deal. Maybe a small one on the shoulder, or something.

Notice how nice the comments are. I think its because she's left her face clear. Once you tattoo the face people instantly and forever will treat you very differently. Notice she never said strangers spit at her or hurl insults while others on this show with face tats do say that.

There-s an open spot on her back between her shoulder blades where she can add her daughter-s name. Hope they don-t ink up their faces, she has a beautiful face, nice she hasn-t destroyed it. As far as the bodysuit, looks well done, like she-s wearing a lace leotard, bodysuit.

When I have a baby: -possibly judged because of how young I am (22)-
When she has a baby: people judge me because I'm a mother with tattoos
I am not hating on her I actually love this.
I just don't have enough money for a full body tattoo.

I have one tattoo and am still thinking about my second one after 8 years but I feel like I-d probably end up having a year where I-m going to decide to just get a whole body covered in one go - it-s just an art form I truly admire.

What about buying a nice house for you and your daughter. 46k is a decent down payment. It's your decision of course. You will look pretty freaky when you are on older woman in hospice lol.

Seeing people destroy themselves feels so good- they lose so many opportunities from society-----which opens up more for me
And the commentators encourage the behavior----

Honestly tattoos are done very well and look beautiful all connecting/ flowing into the other. Very put together and not just random trash slapped on. She looks amazing

How lovely parents! I hate whole body coverups of tattoos but they seem really cool and happy people living in harmony. Good for them, they are admirable!

You should get the baby done! Be so cool to have lengthwise body suit, with one side pink and one blue. What a beautiful family you would have then!

I find it kind of odd that there is not one comment that does not approve this 100%, seems like everybody is loving tattoos sooo much.

Amazing how unsolved early childhood traumas can trigger severe mental and personality disorders. What a crazy tik tok world.

All of your tats are awesome, you don-t have any trash tattoos. Enjoy your life and take care of your family.
