WHEN a selfie caused her to burst into tears, Stacy Blair decided she needed to change. The 31-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, US, stepped on the scales in September 2017 and was upset to see she weighed 352. 4lbs. Determined to lose the weight for the sake of her health, Stacy began her journey. She managed to lose an incredible 220lbs over the course of 18 months naturally. Due to a knee injury preventing her from working out, this weight loss was largely the result of a healthy diet

i lost about 68 pounds in the last few years, and i know that doesn't seem like a whole lot, but i had been binge eating my entire life and am 5'3, it affected my joints and my muscles every day. i have problems with my knees and ankles permanently because of this, and extra skin makes it difficult to look at my body and be happy with it. but the amount that i feel better now is just incredible. i slip up and my weight does fluctuate every now and then but that is a part of the healing process from what i used to deal with, and i accept that. regardless of my weight i have had to learn to love the fleshbag that i was given and treat it with some dignity and respect, it's what it deserves after all.

I just feel bad to hear her say - I felt pregnant-, I congratulate her on her weight loss and am happy to see anyone going through these beautiful changes. But it feels terrible to hear people this often comparing them selves to pregnant women. Because you can not compare a eating disorder with pregnancy. Pregnant women don't look bad, ugly, fat etc, they are carrying another human inside their body, and they do not have to be ashamed of their weight, because it is something normal as long as they don't have other problems with their weight like eating disorders etc.

Well done, lady! This is the ultimate proof that being fat is mostly the person's fault for lack of self-control - not the genes, not -heavy bones-, or slow metabolism. This lady decided to take back control - and look what it got her! Great job! It can be very hard to not slip up, but it's worth it! I know I wouldn't have the discipline to go back from weighing that much, so because of that I reign it in if I'm 2 or 3 kilos over. That means dieting for a far shorter period - usually 2 or 3 weeks. I can't imagine sustaining a regime for years, so kudos to her!

I-m impressed by Stacy-s accomplishments, and I-m even more impressed that her loose skin is minimal. I give her a lot of credit because although a person can keep their ED in check for a long time, EDs never go away, and they have to be on guard that they don-t slip back. I-m impressed that she has been in recovery for a long time (except for that small time period where she was injured.

The last year I lost 25 kilos. I need to loose 30 more and lately I-ve felt stuck and depressed-. but I-ve been watching these episodes and I feel so motivated to start again and loose the other 30 kilos, if I was able to loose 25 I can loose the rest. It-s not easy but here I go, wish me luck. Thank you for all these vids.

Hey those arms girl! Wow. I'm proud of you also. Your glowing! I had a bug weight loss also but not like you. I still have loose skin tho. But my arms don't look like yours. I have multiple sclerosis so working out is more painful but I'm maintaining a 50 lb weight loss and eating healthy for life!

I had a fitness instructor at my home-. he was certainly qualified but he never ever did what he asked me to do. He watched, timed and was a cold impersonal trainer. Glad you had someone wonderful as he looked and sounded!
Great to see you so much healthier!

I was 328 lbs. I started changing my eating habits- portion control and a lot more veggies. No flavored drinks, only water. And started exercising. I gained 12 lbs. Talking to my doctor about surgery next week because I can-t do this anymore.

I can't understand why government does not sponsor and pay for this skin removal surgery, provided you maintain the weight loss for 2 years it should be free. This lady is going to save the government a fortune in future health bills -

Her face looked prettier before the weight loss-
Now there is almost zero fat left.
Doesn-t look very feminine to me.
But otherwise I give her credits for her achievement! Amazing willpower required for such a change!

Her skin looks so much better after those months of working out. It proves that fitness is as important as a good food regimen to me (both contribute to different aspects of our health) Now she's stronger than ever! -

Finally someone who lost a ton of weight who still looks good and found a way to manage with the skin - this is exactly the kind of story I wanted to see thank you, not everyone can afford to cheat and buy skin removal.
reply

Congrats on your amazing achievements! As someone who lived much too long with loose skin and just got it removed about a year ago I say to anyone thinking about it DO IT. You will be so happy you did.
reply

most importantly is that she got her life back. and taking care of her health. losing the weight is just the bonus and the results. anyone can do this, its up to the individual to say enough is enough.
reply

I love her attitude to her loose skin. She is just happy to be healthy and to look good in clothes. I also love the confidence in her ability to achieve anything that she has gained

It-s good that she-s lost the weight. But that push up form is very wrong. The elbows are not supposed to bend that way when you go down

reply

I hope someone watching this sponsored her wish and pay for the cosmetics surgery that she desires. She's an inspiration to us all. You go girl-

You look amazing but lose the false eyelashes. Your eyes are much more beautiful without it, even when you were overweight.

Autophagy is good for losing excess skin. ( dr jason Fung-s patients do not need to get excess skin removed)
reply

She looks great, very toned. The accident prone-ness is likely add/adhd. Shortage of seratonin- dyspraxia.
