A MOTHER has lost 100lbs to become -the best, most sexy version- of herself. Alexa from Texas once weighed a whopping 254lbs, living off between 4000 and 5000 calories a day. Alexa-s turning point was when she went to an amusement park, and was unable to fit in the seats

Is she saying that people telling her -You are pretty, but you need to lose weight- was -hurtful-? And the thing that finally got her to lose weight was not fitting on a carnival ride? . sheesh, that is very sad and disappointing actually. It indicates that she is very easily offended. . One thing I figured most heavy people had was an ability to handle criticism, but no, not this lady. I am starting to think that there is a link between the obesity epidemic and the growing numbers of snowflakes. How do be make a stronger, tougher, less sensitive, less offended, more self-disciplined, more self-improving, and more self-critical society? Because that is what we need. Less snowflakes and safe spaces and more warriors and realists.

That's amazing! Stories like this motivate me even more. I gained a ton of weight after I graduated college and started my first full time job, and after a few years of lethargy, getting winded on stairs and feeling generally unhealthy, I decided enough was enough. I got myself to work out and pick a few sports back up, and now I finally got myself into a routine of training 5 days a week! My goal isn't to lose weight, but retain that same weight but convert it all to muscle. Still got some work to do, but 2 years in and I can finally feel (and see) the difference!

I totally feel for her. i was overweight as a young girl, until I was 13/14. My grandmother used to say -you could be skinnier if you didn't eat so many snacks- so it caused a huge emotional issue with eating for me. i then got sick and had yo have surgery, that also caused weight loss. I ended up being 96lbs for years and that same grandma would say how skinny I was, her husband would tell me -you get skinnier every time I see you- which no I didn't. I weighed the same. so like regardless of what I looked like, she always commented on it.

People are so superficial. Keto is not healthy as soon as you go off it you will gain it all back. You should have said f-ck you to your Grandpa! that was evil of him to say! Why are you now siding with your bullies? You alllowed them to make you feel worthless. Just because on is thinner does not mean they are healthier! Keto or low carb diets are not balanced diets and Most poeple go off them eventually and gain all the weight back!

Great transformation, you did amazing job. I remember starting my own transformation about a year ago. I got a diet plan from website dietarize and started doing some exercises at home. My brother was making fun of me, thinking I will give up. But day after day, meal after meal, I managed to do it. I lost 75lbs thanks to my diet and dedication and I'm feeling a lot happier now. I can finally tie my shoelaces without holding my breath -

I've been big my whole life, and it's even harder now that I have thyroid disorder. I lost 60 lbs but I got stuck and couldn't lose anymore. My weight keeps bouncing up and down but I can't seem to reach my goal weight. I've even resorted to starving myself sometimes because I'm so unhappy with my weight. Any tips? I'm 290 and I want to be at 112 I know that's a big gap but that's where I should be for my height and age

Weightloss is a journey in itself. Healthy habits and lifestyle can make you loose weight so easily. I took 2 week 1000 jump rope challenge just with a 15 minutes workout you can loose 2 to 3 kgs in a month which is awesome -. Instead of just thinking we should be little active and we can loose weight slowly slowly.

-You have a really pretty face. If only you would lose the weight-
Personally, I got a bit annoyed that that statement would make her sad. It should be encouraging. Would she prefer they say -You're so ugly that nothing can help you. Dont even waste your time trying to lose weight. Thats just life-. Come on, man.

I saw about 10 same videos. looks like foodoholic anonymous: I am fat and I addicted to cheeseburger.
Stop eating, start diet! But to us, to watchers is presented as they participated in Vietnam War. Yes, this very good to start diet, but it not kind if heroism. IMHO.

No Joke. WHen I sat in a movie theater seat, and after movie was over I couldn't get out, and I said really loud:
-Help i'm too fat and I can't get up. - Some poeple laughed, and I laughed too, but it was a little hard to face.

The thing is that her grandpa-s honesty is what lead to her losing weight, those tough words made her stronger. And we-re losing those motivating factors in life when we try to silence those that provide any adversity to life.

I am sure she still hears that she has to lose weight here and there and all that. that's the world we live in. either you are skinny (called fit by society) or you are fat (even when you are not)
reply

The truth hurts but your health is important they probably could have said it in a more polite way buy it probably helped motivate her. As I sit here eating ice cream for breakfast -

-You're pretty, but you need to lose weight- may have been hurtful, but it caused her just the right of pain to get her into action to find a version of herself that she liked more.

Am amazed with this people that really jumped to experience a new life just because of stepping outside and keeping moving their bodies. So inspiring
reply

Good for her. But even better for everyone who told her to lose the wait.
It might-ve made you said, but empowered you to get your life back

reply

What inspiring about this, other than the usual fantastic effort, is that she never blamed the ride, she knew she is the problem. thumbs up.

When you put your mind to accomplish anything, you have to go all in. You did a good job and you come out looking more beautiful.

My alcoholic father told me at the dinner table one night. -no wonder you look like a horse. you eat like one! -
I was 12 years old.

-You need to lose weight for healthy life- is a good advice to obese persons. its about health. no need to cry over it.
