KAYLA has completely transformed her body over the past two years by dropping an incredible 205lbs. Kayla was always a bigger child and was diagnosed with a thyroid condition which was one of the main reasons why she would gain weight so easily. At her heaviest Kayla weighed 342lbs and admits that her relationship with food was very unhealthy. She told Truly: I would indulge in pasta, I was raised Italian, my dad's Italian, so all the carbs; pastas, breads, pizza you name it. My snack was always chips. I could demolish a whole family size bag in one sitting. Despite the difficulties that she faced with her weight she had one passion that got her through the tough times - Barbie. My love for Barbie stemmed from a young age. I was a kid going to doctors and dieticians and as a reward, my parents got me a Barbie as I always loved her and lived vicariously through Barbie. Everything changed for Kayla when she boarded a plane to LA in order to visit her sister. Kayla said: I needed two seats and a seatbelt extender, walking through the aisle of the plane I couldn't even fit going sideways, I was bumping into everybody. It was rough and mentally depressing but it was the 'kick in the butt' I needed to change my lifestyle. With a lot of hard work including her incredibly intense daily workouts, gastric sleeve surgery and diet change, Kayla has now achieved the body she always wanted and is busy living her best life

So. she took the weight loss pill in getting the majority of her intestinal tract (which is required for the uptake of nutrients to her system) cut out because she has no intention of addressing the psychological reasons behind her body dysmorphia (let alone the Barbie complex) & this video is all about losing weight showing her working out at the gym (while sill fat mind you. Lorna Jane would not approve. Sure.
And then the fawning comments here from other (Fat) women & simps. Women really do hate themselves & each other

Not to be nasty, but the arm scar is bothering me. So there was no fat loss procedures like lipo or plastic? Not trying to be nasty. but I don't believe in the stomache bands are helping people that much. Also I feel like if your getting one surgery why not both? but I did learn a lot. thyroid issues run in my family.

To compare yourself to a doll is just insanity to me. It-s amazing how many people do! There is so much to life to live and explore and these people can-t get over themselves. I commend her weight loss journey. I wish she would love herself!

I thought I was going to watch the video of a superficial person talking about how she dreamt about being Barbie. I was very wrong. This woman is so mentally and physically healthy, so mature and strong. Good on her!

Was it hard to lose weigjt because of a medical condition or binging on pasta and carbs (over eating and excess calories. But neways that doesnt matter. Kudos on making the decision to change -

Hyperthyroidism or terrible (but common) starch diet? Seeing how she has kept it off after surgery seems like her thyroid was not the cause but probably another symptom of a high carb diet.

Of all the Barbie girls ever featured on here, she's the only one who looks the part and she didn't even spend all that money. GOOD ON YOU. Cute as heck, fabulous before and after.

She's right, in order to change your body, you must first change your frame of mind. Self discipline is what it takes and we're all capable of it. Mind over matter. Plus she looks great.
reply

I'm happy for you, however, in order to maintain your new look, you'll need to have therapy for the eating disorder. If you don't, you'll be fat again in the future.

-turns out I have a thyroid condition-
-I could demolish an entire family size bag of chips in one sitting-
It was the chips and pasta, come on.

What an awesome story I really enjoyed it, you did so well to loose so much weight with a thyroid problem. And you look stunning. I wish you all the best.

Kayla: -I know my man says he likes big beautiful women. BUT
I see him checking out those smaller cute girls.
LET ME DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS-

It's one thing to lose weight for health, for you, just to look like Barbie is the goal, I don't know, it's her shtick I guess but y not just be you!
reply

That's trading an eating disorder for another. over exercising and being obssessed about what you eat is as unhealthy as binging, often more
reply

I love how she said, if you want to lose weight, put your head in the game, that applies to anyting you want to do in life, good for you barbie!
reply

That-s cool, we live in the same city and have both gotten the sleeve done. I will say that like her it-s the best decision I-ve ever made too!

What an Amazing and Inspiring weight loss story. She is So happy and you know she has to feel better. You keep going girl! You've got this! -

nice progress, don't forget to say you had lipo and other work too its not just diet and hitting the gym post bypass bit of deceit here.
reply

She's a well-balanced individual, unlike those nutjobs who disfigure themselves over an obession to look like someone else.
reply

Her dads Italian- yeah. I-m sure - I-m sure one of his parents were Italian. So that doesn-t make your father Italian
reply

She got a sixhead (not a forhead. Kudos for her to choose that hairstyle instead of one that makes her forhead smaller.
reply

Wow this is one of those cases where beauty isn't just skin deep, and that beauty shines through her before and after!
reply

I seen your story before and my mom is going with the same dr. I saw you look familiar. How long you did your surgery?
reply

She don't need plastic surgery to look barbie as she already does- not like others they become plastic not human-
reply

You cannot like Barbie that much and get in couple with someone who cannot give you a lookalike daughter.
