I'm missouri's first trans homecoming queen - shake my beauty

LANA is an aesothician, drag performer and Missouri-s first transgender homecoming queen. She remembers telling her high school friend when she came out as trans, but it took a bit longer to tell her mum. She sent her mum a text in the lead up to a cheerleading banquet saying she was wearing a dress, and her mum then didn-t attend the banquet. However when Lana won homecoming it was then clear to her family that she was happy as a trans woman in a school full of people who accepted her. Lana could also handle herself against the haters who protested outside her school. These days, although they sometimes have their concerns, Lana-s family are very supportive of her and today Lana has some important news for her family, she wants to tell them about a surgery she-s having soon

I fully support her and everyone through their journey. Im not ashamed of that and I dont want to be ignorant so thats why I have questions. My main question is what exactly makes someone a woman? If someone wants long hair and to wear makeup, nails and wear what is traditional women's clothes should not necessarily make someone a woman right? I could be wrong thats why I ask. I always thought that things that only the creator can determine from the mind to the body and soul can determine woman and man. I think there obviously should be a definition and that should be protected but I would think that we still need to protect what can't be changed. I also think that trans individuals are just as important and should have just as many rights as everyone else and should not be discriminated against.

Dude it's honestly so depressing how many hate comments there are on this video. Lana is an amazing being, she has stood up to all of you people, the haters, and she earned her title of Homecoming Queen. Now, she may have been born a boy, but that doesn't matter. If she identifies as a girl, then she's a girl. She's just trying to live her life, just like everyone else.

I personally think, something is WRONG with all this. WHY ARE SO MANY MEN trying to be women? IT IS UNREAL HOW MANY. IT IS TRULY THE END TIMES. BUT I know THE GOVT puts things in our food to FEMINIZE MEN, so that they won't fight BACK. The govt loves all this because IT DEPOPULATES. THEY LOVE IT, and they PUSH IT FOR THIS REASON! NO NUCLEAR FAMILIES HERE.

Gender means nothing if you can change it on a whim. Biology is all. If a person can believe in gender non binary, then I can believe in gender non existent. All that matters are DNA, what-s between your legs, and internal organs, working in conjunction. I don-t believe in any gender. Only biology. No one cares about your pronouns

I have no problem with her transgender thing- great that she was picked for prom queen, but I-m so sick and tired of these self centered people that do nothing but spend their time in front of a mirror all day and/or social media promoting themselves and worry about the next surgery they will be getting - enough already!

First they're taking 1st place from women who have been training their whole life now they're crushing the hopes of dreams of actual women who dreamed of being home coming queen cause the world is afraid to offend you and people like you. all for the publicity.

I-m just saying this but idk what other people go through. But I-ve seen alot trans or women getting plastic surgery. I think you don-t really need surgery. It-s doesn-t look natural but I-m proud of everyone.

A trans identified male who is a drag queen. I thought all these 'trans rights' weirdos said those weren't the same thing? If you call yourself a drag queen, you admit you're a man. And yes, he is a MAN.

I wear make-up about once a week and I hardly ever wear dresses. So after watching this I'm now wondering if I'm a woman? As according to this, all it takes to be one is hair, make-up, dresses and surgery.

I met Lana twice now, both times when visiting KC at some of her shows. Honestly, a beautiful person on the outside and inside. Love following her social media too! So funny.

Will transgender people need to be happy as will no one should feel bad just because they want to be someone else but ya I am glad that her family except her for who she is
reply

I feel bad for the girls who lost a chance at being queen, it-s not like they can get that moment back later in life.
Anyway, I guess it-s what the kids wanted.

You should be enforcing natural beauty that's a beauty pageants are for the most naturally beautiful woman not a completely plastic male dress like a woman

-I've had to fight for everything I've had- says the middle class white guy from a loving family. Meaning. you had to pay for cosmetic surgery? Such hardship!
reply

Hey this is great let-s keep it going let-s take every title we can from the women women-s rights what the hell is that all about we don-t need women-s spaces

The problem here is how many ppl are on stage with CROWNS that have male genitalia? Both the king and queen do. And how many have female genitalia? None.

lololololol so dudes are winning women competitions? just like the olympics Lolololol men are better than women at being women apparently.
reply

I hate to be a sceptic but I feel like she won homecoming queen because she was trans and they wanted to make her feel loved and accepted.
reply

Congrats to all these individuals who respect enough themselves to demand the respect that the vast majority of people take for granted.

His story is so motivating and inspiring. I hope HE enjoys HIS life to the fullest and doesn-t let other people get in HIS way. ---

It's the kind hearted girls, who I bet also dreamt to be a homecoming queen, decided to vote for this person. They are amazing
reply

Of course she/he won. As if people are going to miss out on the chance to vote for a trans person as a form of virtue signaling.

So, a man who has been medically and surgically altered to resemble a woman has been chosen as -Homecoming Queen-. -

Women are getting identity taken away, why they couldn't have gone with a biological girl. - That's a dude.
reply

Transitioning is beautiful if it's the right choice for you. But if your trans. you're not a drag queen. Js
