The women owning their body hair - shake my beauty Buffy: I started shaving at 23. I had a full hysterectomy and bilateral oopherectomy at 32 but the hair growth intensified and became much darker, corser and thicker, covering a much larger area. It left me needing to shave twice a day if I was on nights (I was a nurse.
Then I became disabled. But my baby sister was due to get married and it was a destination wedding. I decided to stop shaving a month before the wedding so I could wax instead.
The wedding was 16th December and I've only needed to pluck the odd few hairs here and there since and they've all come back through soft and blonde like the rest of my hair.

I didn't watch all of it, so I don't know exactly what has been said. I m sure she initially had some hairs, which she shaved. And shaving by shaving, the hairs grew and grew and resulted in this. She should have wax instead or have laser treatment. Or she should have left them as they were (some soft hairs)

I had PCOD from 18-25, awful years, but I cured myself with high raw plant based diet. This condition can be cured natural way. Now, over 15 years later, I have NO pcos, have light period every month, absolutely NO facial hair and have already 6 years old daughter.

To be honest. I find them looking like guys. I mean, that's great they learned to embrace themselves and live without fear, but. it looks just ugly. I do admire their personalities, but can't they see it's not looking good? Or even anywhere near?

You have to be strong like this woman in this day and age because people assume things. it shows that we really don't know ANYONE unless we are graced with having them in our lives as family, friends or an intimate partner. You go girl!

I-ve got PCOS but my facial hair is mostly fuzzy. I hate that at this time so MANY people are unaware of this condition so y-all making people aware is fab! I-m so proud of y-all no matter where your hair is! Hugz, Tree

A girl that I knew had a lot of facial hair. I'm sure it was PCOS, but back then it wasnt a thing. She died of breast cancer in her late twenties. Obviously there was a link between the two.

I have PCOS and I lose my mind when my chin hair starts coming in. I love makeup and it doesn-t sit well on hair. Plucking and shaving can be a pain at times. I wish I had the guts to embrace my facial hair

She is so beautiful! And I love the relationship her and her ex partner have! Everyone should have that person in their life who accepts them for who they are and who they can be themself around
reply

Glad to see she owns it and is proud to present her features. Understandably must be tough. What helps more is educating people to understand what causes it. Ignorance leads to prejudice

i absolutely cannot handle facial hair. i have polycystic ovaries and it does cause hair in weird places but its minimal which im very grateful for. but to each his own. its just not for me.

Sh! t im sorry I thought she was trans at first and I was about to get mad because the title doesn-t make sense if she was-. My bad
I wonder if she tried laser hair removal

reply

It amazes me that people will so readily accept this, but OH MY GOD heaven forbid a bearded drag queen, or a trans woman with a beard, or trans people existing at all.
reply

She has polycystic ovaries due to obesity, so you can see that she has male hormones. If she treats herself soon, she will regret it later. She may get cancer.

Why is it so hard to just shave and makeup on the daily? I think she just likes the attention. Oh and that trim sucks. Indont care what gender you are.
reply

If they own it, good for them, but I would rather stick hot needles into both of my eyeballs than walk around with a beard. Each to their own.
reply

It's interesting that a beard is -she- though it is usually worn by men. - In my mother tongue it is indeed of feminine gender, in French as well.

In the first segment, the kid is really happy. and folks, that is all that matters. He will grow up to have empathy and accept people.

Humans physically are a species of ape. They re not always hairless apes, in fact most of the time, they are not. Get over it.
reply

If I was a woman and I grew facial hair I would cry. I'm a man and if I find out I have female hormones I will cry and be mad.
reply

I am sorry to hear all the negativity that some people have but I'd like to say this, U are absolutely gorgeous -
reply
