A 22-year-old wife and mother of two, Christal, fell pregnant at the age of 15, with her partner Henry - and the couple had it all planned out. Orlando, Christal-s Dad, out of anger, had stopped speaking to her for some time after finding out she was pregnant. However, with the support of her family, Christal welcomed her daughter just two days before her 16th birthday and her life has not been the same since. Despite being a new mom, Christal managed to graduate from High School, welcomed their second daughter at the age of 19 and got married just one day before her 20th birthday. The young mom expresses that till this very day, she receives a lot of judgement in public and online for being a -bad parent- - but she is keen to show that this is not the case with her family

My best friend was pregnant for all of the first year I knew her. She was 15 when her daughter was born. Her daughter just turned 9. I was with her more than the baby daddy was for 4 years. We're starting to see each other again because we do miss each other. Her daughter is a very kind, intelligent and spirited child. My best friend has been a single mom since she was 15. It's not about age. I wouldn't condone like. a 13 year old getting pregnant by a 19 year old or anything like that but it happens.

This was planned, because she probably figured mom and dad will be around to help with the baby. - If you're 1. Not an adult 2. Can't support yourself. I. M. O. People like that shouldn't be having no baby. -Oh people are trolls- yeah imagine people having enough sense and decency to think a literal child shouldn't be a parent. Hope they'll be okay becoming young grandparents. When their oldest decides to be a mom at 13-17 years old.

It reminds me of an old friend I had, who was in a similar situation too. Got married and had their first one at 14, and for them it just worked. It-s super rare, but that rarely you have kids that are barely teens that are basically adults in kids bodies so for them it just works- super rare though, like not 99% of them I-d say- so good on them and hope they-re all well

Glad it worked out for them, but I don-t see why they couldn-t wait. Kids grow up fast and I-m just thinking about her parents wanting their child to stay their child and I can understand how heartbroken they were. I know you can-t keep your kids innocent forever, but waiting until after high school would have made it less hurtful for them.

Y-all are ruthless in these comments. I used to work with her and I can tell y-all she is an incredibly mature, smart, hard working girl who is totally committed to her family. It may not work out for everyone but if this is the life she wants and it makes her happy then what-s the issue?
Let them be happy. They-re doin a great job.

It's rather crazy to imagine planning to have a baby at that age but then. Well, it's their life and it worked out in the end. About the friends. It's sort of normal that they disapeared. They have such a different reality from these two. They are probably ages away from them in life. To maintain friendships like that is really hard.

How about everyone stop talking about their age. And how hard they-ve worked to get to where they are today. Finished school, college, working hard, owning a house, amazing parents to these girls. And have a supportive family after years. A beautiful family and beautiful story. WAY TO GO GUYS! I-m proud of you. -

She is extremely lucky that this worked out for her. They are by far the exception, not the rule, to graduate high school, to own a house, etc. I'm glad it worked out for her, but I fear giving her a platform will encourage young and naive girls that it will be like that for them too, and odds are it will not be.

At least you know that your children will always have someone to help and support each other through life. As long as you are coping then it's no one else's business how many children you have. It's a shame that strangers are so judgemental when they don't really know your situation.

I hope she is ready to be a grandmother by 30! And that she won-t judge her daughter if she plans a silly pregnancy with her boyfriend. At 14! WTH! She and him weren-t very smart! What teen in their right mindset plans a pregnancy at 14! She needed to go to therapy not get pregnant!
reply

It seems inappropriate to interview them & her parents, whilst the children are there. Isabella seems to be listening. At 6 years old, she likely can't understand the nuance that teen pregnancy limits her parents' opportunities vs that she -ruined- their lives.

Putting aside the age factor. I must say, this couple seems lovely and way more mature and grounded than people double or triple their age. Sending them lots of love and wishes. They seem like a strong, loving, and mature couple bringing up two lovely girls.

It's selfish to have a baby and put that burden on your parents so young; this puts unnecessary pressures on your parents' financial situations and the baby to come. This video is misleading. What's done is done.

I'm 43 years old and I tried to do everything the proper way. but marriage never came my way and so I never had kids. I should have had kids at a young age and marry young. A life centered on your career, is all hype.

This story moves me so much! My parents were also very beautiful, very smart and very young when I was born. They were wonderful parents and I am grateful every day for how lucky I was.
reply

You got very lucky in many ways - upper middle class I'd guess, a guy that stuck around, healthy kids and plenty of support from family (even if your father didn't accept it right away.
reply

Whoa! planing a baby at 14? When I was 14 I was still riding my bike, playing video games, but glad everything workout for this couple they seem like the wonderful parents

I have a similar story, fell in love at 14, became pregnant at 17 now we-ve been 11 years together and 6 years married with 2 kids - I finished college as well

Mature. my foot. when you still need to figure out many things in life you are having baby. baby is not for fun and even motherhood. So dumb decision
reply

I love this, I feel for them since I was a teen mom, not as young as them but the only thing I don't agree with is the social media attention
reply

Cannot believe people are calling this couple mature. They seem like fine parents but their delusional thinking having kids that early was okay.
reply

These ppl with the negative comments or trying to justify their opinions will never be satisfied F them! May God Continue to bless y-all-

She was with a 17 year old at 14, why is the blame placed on her? Good for her for making the best of the situation and being a good mom.
reply

If those babies are loved and well taken care of, cherished and protected, like children should be, that's what matters. -
reply

It is obvious the love and support you have for each other and your girls. Very level headed as well. Enjoy your family.

Idc they can do whatever I just don-t like that they trying to make it like if it-s a good thing getting pregnant at 14 smh
reply

She looks mature. I'm 28 and look younger than her. She doesn't look like a teen. Some people mature sooner.
reply
