HANNAH, from Leicester, UK had always struggled with her weight and her love of food led her to get bigger and bigger. This only got worse when she fell pregnant and her weight spiralled out of control. Hannah's self esteem reached an all time low which resulted in her developing some terrible eating habits. Hannah told Truly: The only thing that was keeping me happy was food. I'd sit and eat an entire birthday cake for breakfast. At her heaviest Hannah reached 362lbs and was given a warning by her doctor that if things don't change then she would be at risk of a heart attack. Hannah's realisation moment came in the form of two pictures taken of her at her 30th birthday party. She said: They were the ones that made me go. 'dammit, you've got quite big', that was the moment where I needed to sort my life out. With that Hannah embarked on her journey and after running, walking and a change in diet, lost an incredible 172lbs. However Hannah was not expecting the loose skin that would come with such a large weight loss. There was a time when I absolutely hated it, but then I started to learn to love myself. This bit of skin is a part of my journey and I love it as it's a part of me

Good for you! I can relate about the weight. I was hit by a drunken driver when I was 18. I was attending a military academy to go into the Marine Corps. Since that accident I have had five back surgeries. They now want to finally go in and fuse my back. Coved-1 has delayed that surgery. I currently weigh 290 lb and with all the back problems I have the weight makes it even worse. Exercise is something I cannot do because of my spinal injury. I hope that one day I will be as successful as you, and get back down to 170 lb. Best wishes You're an inspiration.

I love the way she is so proud of her belly rather than wanting such a dreadfully massive operation to remove it. I recall Lisa Riley who played Mandy Dingle on Emmerdale. She was a big gal of 30 stones who I believe had a gastric band to lose the lard but she was then butchered to have all the left over skin removed. She found the surgery and afterwards to be quite traumatic. She has never looked great as a thin person as her head was too large for what was a very tiny body as she had overdone it in my opinion.

What's always crazy for me when I see these videos is that I'm maybe like 320lbs and I see others the same or similar weight and they look way bigger than I think I look. Its very confusing to me and I don't know how to feel. I know it varies from person to person, depends on height and stuff too but idk it's just confusing. She looks amazing though, hopefully one day I can achieve something similar

YAS QUEEN!
I am still on my weight loss journey - but I have already dropped over 200 pounds, so I -totally- understand the loose skin! Once I reach my target weight, I do plan on having skin removal surgery, but not because I'm ashamed of it. I just want to fit better into my new clothes and my new me. Until those surgeries happen, however, my skin flaps and I are rocking out together.

Admirable. Iv been a yo yo dieter forever, now I'm dead serious about it. And you know how I know I'm dead serious about it? I poured Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice-cream down the loo. That's a big deal lol it's expensive and very nice but no it ain't going in my bel-bels! I think it's been 3-4 days now with chocolate, hardest one for me! Hope I can drop the weight!

Hannah lives within my town and it-s amazing how far she-s come with her journey. I personally don-t believe in Slimming World and think that it-s another fad diet plan that can and will eventually deteriorate your mental health, but that hasn-t happened to her and I-m proud of her for continuing on and wanting the best for her life.

i know it is good to feel proud about loose skin but out of curiousity, do loose skin cause pain to the muscle since they're hanging loose without adequate support towards the gravity? i mean, i assume 10 to 15 kg of flesh pulling your torso down everyday may cause some discomfort, but is it?

This makes me happy! As someone who needs to lose over 200 pounds I really enjoy seeing positive videos like this. I see that it can be done, and you truly can overcome food addiction! I wish you all well on your life's journey, whatever that is. :)

I thought it was interesting that she said she didn-t have love so food was her love. That-s sad! But I can see that being true for people with overeating problems. I think this was insightful and encouraging to help people lose weight.

I have loads of loose skin from my weight loss and I absolutely hate it. Itss disgusting. Shes just trying to make herself feel better. I can't afford skin removal and now I have to live like this. I wish I was just fat instead.

I've lost 7kg in 4 months (75kg to 68kg) It feels so good to watch numbers go down on scale and my clothes are beginning to feel loose. I encourage anyone to just start and then you will feel motivated to continue.

Yes: it-s all about balance! It-s of course ok to treat yourself sometimes. Don-t punish, starve or blame yourself afterwards. You only have one life and one body to live it with so take care of yourself.

My heaviest weight was 120 kg started eating pizzas and icecream every day now im 75 kg, and my point is u can eat whatever u want aslong u are in coloric deficit

No, you don't love your loose skin!
You may be able to fool yourself but not others! Loose skin is unnatural and ugly, no matter how hard you look!

I love how honest she is, the first step in changing yourself is recognizing where you-re going wrong. She-s pretty with a great smile.

Her daughter looks like she-s on the heavier side for her age too. I hope they-re both able to lose/keep weight off and be healthy
