People in a relationship have the right to choose what their relationship and its rules should look like. It doesn't matter who pays and for what, as long as it aligns with their values. They are adults, aware - they know what they are doing and no one forces them to do anything. They are happy and that's good for them. I don't see a problem with that.
I would like to be in such a relationship myself. Why? Because I always had a nature that was happy if I could take care of someone - make dinner, run the house. In my opinion, it's a job like any other. Running a house is not as easy as everyone thinks.

I don t love this dynamic bc I have had past bf use the fact they pay for stuff like not my rent like just meals or use finance to control me. I don t get that vibe from him. also she has financial independence so she is more unique situation that unfortunately I don t think the average woman is in bc of the pay disparity between men and women. But good for them they seem happy.

They are happy, in love and traditional is highly appreciated in life, I really don't see a problem. They are both adults, in a healthy environment loving home and neighborhood. Those are dream goals a person wants and needs and deserves in one's life.

Not good for ordinary people but if the money he pays is literally nothing to him and he doesn t care. Why not? If my boyfriend paid for a meal, I paid something else e. g next meal, grocery or something that he needs. But not 50/50 to every penny.

She is actually losing out. At her income level she could easily pay for half the rent. Instead he is paying all the rent, while she does all the cleaning. That time she spends cleaning could be used to earn more while while they hire a maid.
