Learn English with Catherine and Neil as they explain how to use time expressions with in, on and at. For extra materials Mohamed: Sorry if this is off topic. Are you all in the videos keen on speaking what's called 'BBC accent' ? If yes, how about the other accents ? Why don't you make videos using them or videos about the difference between them?
That said, I must admit that this accent you're using is very clear and smooth. Unlike some British accents that may sound good but difficult to grasp.

Hi, I haven't understood why I should use 'on' in the last question, instead of 'at', once the expression is related to New Year's Eve in general, not a particular one on a specific day.
Could anyone help me?

reply

the usage of preposition is just like free position to my thought of describing something.
i mean it's like free on taking a location in phrase to me
:-D

Hey
I say 'on the weekend' and my answer would still be correct, since there wasn't any instructions about using BrE only.
