I didn't get the short cut example because right before T there's R instead of a vowel, isn't the rule Just for vowel + t + k sound?
And another thing, for me, it seems like T sound isn't spelled at all, Just like credit card, If you say these words together You're not going to pronounce crediK Kard, right? Just a unique K sound, like credi Kard. Am I right?
