I have a few doubts
1) which one is correct to use
A)I assumed that he was working in the bank
or
I assumed that he is working in the bank
2) if i were you I would help
Can I use like this- if I were you I could/might/should
3)He appeared to have done that work
Negative form for this sentence?

Usually, I adore your News Review, but this episode turned out to be flat-out worse than usual, in my book: it is short, with very little synonyms and collocations using the keywords (e.g., there was no example of using the colocation put the spotlight on sth in a real sentence). I will be happy if you would please take these my ideas into consideration for future episodes, BBC team.
