What kind of idiots are these people? They refer to an orangutan ( which is an ape ) as a damn cheeky monkey? Are they complete morons? Theyre not qualified to provide any care or assess anything of their behaviors or needs. Those things are nothing but big fat round blobs bc of those people. Theyre lacking in the most basic abilities and cant survive in the wild. I think these idiots recording their every move are more concerned with their ability to benefit by profiting off everyone on YouTube, than anything else. when people wanna give off this element of being much more important than they actually are, having elevated levels of self importance and status or any level of expertise thats actually absent, its irritating. It appears as if Theyre more concerned with getting money for themselves and coming off like they have some sort of expert level knowledge. I feel sorry for the orangutans. Which are not monkeys, for crying out loud. These people dont have their facts straight and wouldnt know the reality if it hit them in the head with a tree branch with an orangutan at the other end. so irritating. Dont act like you know things youre not remotely educated on. Those people are extremely self limited, yet wanna promote themselves as some sort of knowledgeable caregivers, capable to instill within the apes, the ability to function and survive apart from the more so pet lifestyle theyre forced into. And bc An orangutan takes so many years to gain knowledge and intelligence / cognitive abilities, its harder as is, for them to survive even if the deforestation were to be fought against and stopped, theyre not an adaptable species in comparison to many other wild animals and they cling to and linger on between the lines of being in a humanized environment and a wild state, which makes it that much more difficult. it takes at least 8 years for them to learn some of the most basic of skills theyd need in the wild. These people are not providing what they claim to or try to present in their little videos. Its almost as annoyingly bad as those who obtain wild monkeys or apes for pets just so they can benefit and profit off of them, by making whatever little YouTube videos and then putting them back in their little caged prisons when theyre no longer useful, after their tv time. . Cant believe bbc is promoting this. and why they have a young child with a dang ape wrapped around it, carrying it around is a bit concerning. Those apes seem to be very whiny and disagreeable to even follow through with these annoying people and their lacking selves. that dude is a Moron.

They all have such big fat round stomachs. They look like little big round spiders, minus 4 extremities haha. I wonder if those apes are similar when it comes to what causes them to have more or less hair as infants, as that of monkeys. bc some are almost as if theyre bald or shaven. Its so Strange looking. I know with monkeys at least, the amount of hair they have when born and as babies is a direct indicator of the health and longevity of the pregnancy, while theyre developing before being born. so I wonder if that plays any role with orangutans, as well. or if its just a generic marker due to the traits of one or both parents or further back within the genetic line. I am well aware that there are vast differences between apes and any monkeys, but just curious as to what causes an orangutan to have more or less hair. apart from Certain breeds, Which tend to follow a pattern and share the same traits of hair thats more dense and thick, almost appearing like dreads when theyre adults. Either way, idk, whats strange as well, is the fact that orangutans are so large yet they all Vocalize in that extremely high pitch almost whiny tone. Youd think monkeys would get those vocal cords & sounds, as opposed to such a big ape.

These little ones are very bright and determined. I love them, and love them, and love them. If each one of us donates 10 to the BOS Foundation, we can build a decent amount of money, and it can be used for all sorts of care and protection and training for these very special endangered critters. They need food money, fuel for rescue boats and jeeps, vet and medicine money, wages for these wonderful stand-ins for us because we can't be there. This time of year donations are especially significant as we give gifts around the world. Please, let us join together with individual 10 donations this month, and in the months to follow. Here in the USA, 10 will not quite pay for a large pizza with the trimmings. I know those people who love to watch these videos get more than 10 worth of joy and amusement from them.

I swear since there endangered if one day there's only one Orangutan left and say some poacher ends up killing it our species deserves to be killed off just as they were, I'll never understand how any human being can kill any Orangutan on this planet and not have it bother them at all to do it
reply

There needs to be a great human cull to save the planet and all the animals. Kill all but 100 million humans. Make them live in a few cities around the world - human preserves. Keep the population under control.

To the guy that said this reminds you of a video for Howard University, it's not. Ok? So, yeah, stop. Don't say that, it's not funny. Well, it is kinda funny, but it's hurtful. To them. So, stop.

At around 2: 00 when he calls the orangutan a cheeky monkey, I hope this so-called expert realizes that orangutans are NOT monkeys and he was using the term liberally.

Haha, I knew Aggie was going to try and get the snack and still keep playing. This is positive though since they seem to be getting comfortable up the trees.

its funny but all I want to see is them fall. They are so cocky when climbing that I just want to see a few branches snap here and there.
