Trying To Save The Red Crowned Cranes Of Japan Wild Japan BBC User: why are footage of grus japonensis always in winter with snow? I mean it's a beautiful and perfect setting that suits their elegant black and white bodies but. it's rare to find videos of them online in the summer. do they migrate somewhere far?

That bird can be found also in Korea too
In fact Manchurian crane or Japanese crane or Red-crown Crane or durumi in Korean
Can found on obverse side of 500 south Korean won coin
And that's a national bird for c
Korea too

Just got Gladys with her big red crown to move in on my island on Animal Crossing and it prompted me to know more about them! Such elegant birds, they are. I hope they don't end up like the Dodos!

What graceful, beautiful creatures. almost cried at how breathtaking they are, and how the farmers go out of their way to save these godly creatures. Bless them for their kind hearts.

I think they want their land back. Corn isn't their natural food. Yeah at least the farmers feed them. only because their government requires them to do so. Poor cranes. #LandBack

I live in southeast wisconsin so most of what I see is fields and cities, it's nice to see Japans natural beauty and the people trying to preserve it.

You wouldn't see this in United States they would just let them go extinct. Those Farmers know how rare and intelligent those birds are. Thank you for caring.
