I'm absolutely pissed off when I still witness humans caging chimps in the name of learning how smart they are.
As for the wild chimpanzees attacking and eatting one of their own, WELL we are their closest cousin's with exception of the orangutan and we eat meat and raise animals for our own want to eat meat.
These animals were doing just fine untill humans RUINED their home to live in and our never ending idea we have the right to use these animals for Research reasons.
Makes me sick frankly.
Sorry you poor chimpanzees if I could I would cage alot more humans in this world.

I am beyond shocked to find out that chimps actively hunt, kill, and eat other chimps. Knowing that we're closely related, that they have their own primitive form of language, that they understand the concept of trading, that they have a social hierarchy, makes it really difficult to digest the fact that they're cannibals.

Scientists think its all about finding out if Chimps understand currency & value while the 'benefactors' of university's & the providers of the financial backing for research know its all about a very profitable future investment.

Our genetic code is just 2. 3% different than theirs, yet theres so much in that 2. 3%. I appreciate experts like this who want to learn about these animals natural behaviors rather than try and do other things like put them in clothes or silly things like that.
