Also: Hindu Trinity is far before the Christian Trinity. In Hindu Vedic religion there is only one Supreme God which exist at two different levels of reality. Vedas call it by the name of Brahman, Parabrahma, Paramatma Hindus worship this Supreme God both in personal & impersonal form.
In Hinduism we have the Holy Trinity, where Brahma is the Creator and Supreme Heavenly Father (Param Pita) of the Universe, Vishnu (ParBrahman)is the Son and ever changing Avatar(reincarnation) of God, Shiva (Param Atma or Parmatma) is the Holy Spirit or Supreme Soul. Though God is a infinite source of positive energy it manifests it self in form of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. All 3 are forms of God but not yet same.
