Jaguars playing in their own private pool may seem like fun, but it's of vital importance to their development as predators. pignonMZ6: BBC not pulling punches in this one, and rightly so. These animals are so accustomed to humans that they will be a threat to themselves and humans in the wild. Those biologists are completely missing the point.

Wow! Absolutely phenomenal relationship between Humans and Apex Predator Cats. Not one, but three Jaguars!
Great film footage. Remarkable bond the two of you have with these majestic, ferocious felines.

These jaguars have learned that 'water is safe' after being brought up in captivity.
My guess is at least one of them will probably fall victim to a large crocodile very shortly after being released.

reply

I feel sad for them, they are getting attached to their food and when they will set them free jaguars will be dying off sadness.
But yeah, being in captivity is still better than extinction.

reply

Amazing that those three jaguars could absolutely maul those 2, yet they dont. There is definitely a mutual attachment, and Ive always found that to be so interesting.

Gorgeous cats I pray they do well when they are released. They don't need to approach any horrible humans that would be happy to harm them.
reply

Beautiful creatures and a nice documentary. It must be hard to let them go but at least they gave them a good start in life.
