The natural world is full of adorable babies! Here are some of our favourites at BBC Earth. Nicole: Pretty sure the only reason the poachers weren't successful in killing the baby rhino is because they were interrupted by park rangers. Also pretty sure they strategically waited until the baby was born so that they could acquire two rhino horns. All rhinos are basically now tracked and either fenced off from humans in large reservations or kept in reservations that don't admit the public. Still, poaches manage to find them. One ranger told my family that his colleague who was a pregnant woman was murdered on the job by poachers when she tried to stop them. It's like the drug trade now and it's wiping out an entire species and killing human beings. Rhinos have few natural predators yet there were like 5 orphaned rhinos in this video.

Humans are NOT the best option for raising vervet monkey orphans, I could not disagree with Jackie more. The females of this species are practically unique in their eagerness to adopt foster children and take them into their troops, seamlessly integrating them with wild monkeys in sanctuary. People need to check out the Vervet Monkey Foundation in South Africa here on YouTube, online, and in social media, bc the system the founders pioneered is nothing short of amazing!

Poachers deserve a special place in hell. God will judge them for their wicked deeds!
Animals are precious and I'm super upset with humanity for still having tencendies like poaching. There is no excuse.
I'd rather live with the things I have, how little they may are, than to harm animals for profit.

When the world is in chaos with the corona virus, police brutally, rioting & looting, stay at home issues its so soothing to look at these beautiful animals and the wonderful people who care for them. Yes there is still beauty in this world. Be kind to one another

Why is she taking care of Vervets, since she's in South Africa she can just take them to Vervet Monkey Foundation. At the Foundation both will be with a troop and not just the 2 of them

love the bond of the woman and elephant. they like best of friends. supporting and encouraging the traumatized elephant to let go of its fear.
