Every summer, manatees gather in their thousands in Florida. A leading cause of manatee death here is from boat strike. Can regulations save these gentle giants?

They need to stop spraying non bio degradable herbicide toxins on the water hyacynth. It is their favorite and most nutritious food and it would slow the boats down. As the manatee numbers increased the water hyacynth would be controlled without no biodegradable poison

Always have been fascinated by Manatees. Glad they are no longer endangered species. Grateful for the work of the animal rights groups and conservationists.

I've been a huge fan of such series of BBC but now I don't like it anymore as I don't like listening to strangers. Give me a message when David is back

They should prohibit boat riding in areas that has manatees. OR put a barrier on the motor things. SAVE THOSE LOVELY MAMMALS!
