The Whole Life of Timoth-e Chalamet In One Video (Dune, Call Me By Your Name, Little Women) There are so many factual errors (including CMBYN Oscar recognition and the correct spelling of -Miss Stevens-) and mispronunciations (taciturn and Guagagnino among them) here. On top of this the narration frequently sounds like it was translated into another language and then back into English. The result is that the video-s credibility was suspect all the way up to the moment when the reference to tabloid US Weekly as a -reputable- source killed it completely. I-m always eager for interviews of Chalamet but the lack of care a creator takes with his work correlates with the respect an audience should afford it. This one was definitely a miss. ---\r\n

Listening to this narration gives me serious uncanny valley sensations. The computer generated voice is almost there, but still struggles with pronunciation of certain foreign names. Further, it is obviously a computer generated voice because it reads exactly what is on script, even if what is written is missing key parts of a clause that a native speaking voice performer would have navigated more easily.
If anything, this is a credit to the work of programmers around the world working to fill us with these voice creations. But I'm nervous about what that creates in the realm of deep fakes and deep edits.

Thank you so much for doing this piece on Timothee- Chalamet-
The King, and Call me by your name- are both were wonderful! I-m just so glad people have recognized his abilities as early on as they have. He will be well regarded for years to come and deservingly so characters will come his way. So often we see very talented actors that really aren-t appreciated until much later in life. (Keanu Reeves) Best always for Timothee- He-s just a natural born actor and I can-t wait to see what his future holds.

When the info said he's American, I was unsatisfied. American genes don't pass good looks genes on the males, unlike British genes do on the males. Mystery unlocked, as shown by his name spelling and surname, yep French genes don't lie and that's where his beauty as a male came from. Since he's a reborn Johnny Depp now I'm torn in between wanting to see him big in Hollywood by selling soul or better stay as this reserved Walmart dude in my neighborhood that I can everyday place secret crush on.

This is a very biased and inaccurate account of the young actor's life. Examples: Manhattan Plaza is not an elite complex, and the youngest actor to be nominated for an Oscar is a big fat lie. Whoever wrote this could have goggle the subjects and access the accurate information. Next time this young man is in trouble, the same people who wrote and produced this exaggerated and sensationalist hagiography will destroy him.

4: 18, Robert De Niro attended The High School of Music & Art only for the ninth grade and only a short time and never graduated.
Al Pacino attended The High School of Performing Arts without his mother's consent, whether he graduated or not, is unclear.
Jennifer Aniston missed auditions in 1984 and her mother used connections to arrange a late audition, after which her daughter was admitted.

I have to keep up with the entertainment world and I've met a lot of celebs. One thing I've found out is that I immediately lose interest in every famous person immediately after meeting them. They're just people. That being said, Timothee is still one of my favorites simply because he's a humble person and talented actor. I definitely see him going up beyond the stars.

16: 26 - Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't his Native Language be English, having been born in New York and having lived there throughout his entire life? I understand that his father speaks French, but that doesn't mean that it would automatically become his first language, especially being that his mother is a third-generation American, etc.

He was phenomenal in -Call Me By Your Name, - and I've loved seeing him in everything he's done. He's a nice-looking guy, for sure, but his looks are not the draw. He's my son's generation. But the energy and nuance he brings to his performances are what make him SO COOL to watch. I will see any movie T Chalamet is in, no matter what it's about.

Check out the beautiful parents that created beautiful children! Dang! Dad is super handsome and mother gave him his face shape which is gorgeous? He's very colorful and seems to have a knack for acting. I am already a fan and haven't watched him once yet except this episode. No real need to plug for him. He's already a -star!

While I commend and even have appreciated his performance in -The King- I feel his performance in Dune fell flat on its face, utterly pathetic.
Hopefully, it was due to the Director and not on him as an Actor.
He's got the chops, however apparently he craves strong direction.
Just saying.

In Call me by your Name, doing the scene by the fire at the end was a tour de force. No words spoken, just emotion, transmitting feeling to everyone watching who could hear his heart speak thru his eyes. I empathized, agonized and took his journey with him. I have never seen anything like it.

His take on Elio in Call me by your name is his absolute best role by far. Everything he's done so far is amazing, but there's something about call me by your name that sticks. It's so beautifully done and so close to the book (except the ending. He's a gem in the world of actors.

He doesn't convince me as an actor. He's impossibly handsome, but I find him superficial in his acting, self-aware. But that's me. I'm not a movie critic. I go by 'feelings'. I do wish him good luck and success, though. I will watch Dune mainly because of the cinematography.
reply

The way Elio and Zendaya was pronounced etc- but on to something more important, He is by no doubt one of the best talents of this time and I'm really looking forward to his future works. That speech from The King would make a concrete block shiver.

He-s not the youngest actor to be nominated for an Oscar. Justin Henry was 8 years old when he was nominated and Tatum O'Neal won when she was 10 yrs old when she won. But I adore Timothy C he-s such a talent and he seems genuinely humble.
reply

I beg to differ, startin' with Austin Butler. Then have a good look at Nicholas and Taylor. Ya know what I mean. Tim is very overrated and is fallin' into plastic BS. I'm not buyin' him at this moment. Hope he can change my mind.

What a fascinating journey of the life of an actor. Thank you for this video. I have not seen any of Timothee Chalmet-s vast work as an actor. After watching this video, I really want to.
reply

surely he wasn't the youngest to be nominated for an Oscar. Haley Joel Osment was younger. In the Sixth Sense. And Anna Paquin in the Piano. These videos have several errors in them.

The narrator sounds like an AI computer that has been programmed with English but doesn't know how to use actual natural sounding flow or diction. It is very distracting.

I'm 76 years old and find my self crushing on this wonderful kid! He's amazing! His personality and joy for life is enthralling! The King is my fave movie!
reply

Hal in the movie -The King- I literally watch Timothee in this movie Everyday since it hit the screen. - England is You-! - Timothee is Awesome!
reply

AAAAAAH! Hate to be the pronunciation police, but the narrator simply butchered too many names! Cringe-worthy and takes away from the piece.
reply

he is not the youngest to be nominated for an Oscar, however he is one of the youngest. Fact checking and reviewing work is important: )

Dune, Little Women, Beautiful Boy, Hot Summer Nights. In that order. But I know bones and all is gonna be my new #1 favorite!

He must play Poe in the long overdue biopic of the OG goth and first cool American! #nevermore #edgarallencool #chalametispoe

Whomever is narrating this completely misgendered Jo and Laurie in Little Women. Makes this video seem less than credible.

I first saw him in Call Me By Your Name, and instantly fell in love with him. He is so beautiful and talented ---

My granddaughter introduced me to this movie-actor. He-s not a -boy-, he-s a -man-, and gorgeous-talented.
reply

I loved him in The King. YOung man actually had me believing he was English. Pretty darn good, if you ask me.
