Tom Cruise: Life On The Line - Full Biography (Top Gun, Mission: Impossible, Rain Man) Scientology is a cult, as we ALL KNOW FOR SURE NOW. A cult that manipulates its members into giving over their entire incomes etc and humiliates the its members/victims and uses that to control them. They use dangerous tactics to destroy the lives of those that speak against them. Why would Tom Cruise still support this cult after we all now know exactly how corrupt and evil they are?
It-s possible Miscavige murdered his own wife-. Nobody knows what happened to her.
I respect his acting and do enjoy his movies but the dude can-t be that smart in real life.\r\n

He is a very good actor. A natural. If you look at him in his early work in The Outsiders, he played an Okie outsider, something not that far from his own identity personality wise, but a part that was of a lower class than his real identity. He embraced this role however, by knocking out one of his front teeth, a very method type of thing to do. He had never formally studied this methodology but this level of dedication was something that came natural. He has that thing that is true to him, from an early age.

-There's narcissists. then there's Tom Cruise! He thinks he's a god and believes he's all-knowing. - Telling people, especially those that need the help of a psychiatrist. basically NOT to get help! Just what the world needs is someone telling these people not to seek help. He's a complete Nutbag -who actually could benefit with the help he's telling others not to seek! - Scientology ruined him! He's a good actor, but I have zero respect for him. he's a complete wackadoodle!

He's an amazing actor, without a doubt. Unfortunately, from what the overwhelming majority of those close to him have to say, he's not a nice guy like he portrays publicly. He devestated Nicole Kidman because Scientology came first, had Katie Holmes escape with their daughter over the cult as well and countless others have spoken out about his true nature as well. It's sad because he was my dream guy my whole life, only to learn of his crappy ways.

The narrator states that Tom Cruise's most recognisable role is Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible.
When I think of Tom Cruise & his most recognisable role, I immediately think Maverick in Top Gun.
So I'd like to run a Pole, please answer what role or character immediately comes to mind when it comes to Tom Cruise. You can come up with anything but it must be honest ie what comes up 1st in your mind as Tom Cruise's most known character.

3 wives divorce him at age of 33. That number is defined in mysticism resonates with the energies of compassion, blessings, inspiration, honesty, discipline, bravery and courage.
- Maybe Tom Cruise should consider that Scientology is not good for his private life. And considering the list of directors/producers/actors that won-t work with him because of it, it might be bad for him professionally also.

Tom Cruise is the only actor I sometimes find myself NEEDING to watch in something, anything. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that my dad used to look A LOT like him, but I also think Cruise is a great actor. For instance, the way he sings weakly and shakily through tears in the lullaby scene with Dakota Fanning in -War of the Worlds- has me crying my eyes out every time.

Hi Tom. I love that you protect your character Ethan Hunt. Your character is exciting but always driven to get the villain(s. But behind all the action we see the care for your crew. Can-t wait to see the new Mission Impossible. Thank you for giving your best- it shows.

Its been a crawl back from ruining his own reputation. Where his love for admiration, wealth, royalty to him but not him to either of his marriages. His misfortune is of his own.

The real super star of my generation. Legend. The only thing I don't get is the whole Scientology stuff. TC would of been even a bigger star if Scientology was not involved.

Loved Rainman especially the scene in the phone booth when Dustin farted which wasn't part of the script but both actors played it perfectly so it was left in.
