The answer is obvious, he-s no hero.
all people have to do is look at Venezuela. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, but its citizens are starving and the ones that can, are leaving the country in the thousands.
Communism requires force and the imprisonment of its citizens. All personal liberties have to be curtailed and personal ambitions forgotten for the tribe, community, nation to achieve its socialistic plans. But in reality, it is just a bunch of lunatics imposing their delusions on the rest at the point of a gun.
In contrast, Capitalism requires freedom and is based on the trader principle. You have something to trade? Then you look for a buyer. You cannot force anyone to buy it from you and if the price is not right you will be stuck with your product. Conversely if you are looking for a product you can purchase it from its rightful owner at the agreed upon price, otherwise you will not get it.
Capitalism has brought millions upon millions out of poverty (the prevalent status of all of humanity along millennia) and all of the gadgets and technological advances are there for you to benefit from thanks to Capitalism and the trader principle.
But Capitalism has not just brought material abundance but spiritual prosperity as well.
Communism necessitates killing dissenters and the ones that refuse to be enslaved. Capitalism necessitates freedom and respect for individual rights.

Che Guevara never graduated from medicine. He was a murderer who had hundreds of Cubans executed. He was a madman, the only thing he was good at was murdering. Fidel Castro knew it and convinced him to send him to create guerrillas in Africa and Latin America. As time passed, Fidel Castro betrayed him and the military in Bolivia killed him.

So why is there now an uprise in Cuba if communism is so great? Cuban American-s that still have relatives in Cuba say otherwise. The people are screaming LIBERTAD, which translated means liberty.
reply

He may have eliminated those supporters of Batista but that was no different then the purge of the USSR where over 25 million were killed starting with the Stalin regime.

I have to say, as a Cuban refugee it would be nice to talk about all he did. Not just what people praise him for.

Why don't you do a real biography on Che and stop wasting time on all those vapid modern celebrities?
