Every time I hear people mention Colin Kaepernick I brace for impact, I batten the hatches, a head for the hills. because the potency of the ritual that he violated/did not take part in is greater than the Sacrament. No one in America cares if you take Holy Communion on Sunday, Saturdays, only once a month, or not at all. But everyone cares if you neglect the national anthem.

My ritual is clicking on John Color of my shirt videos when they show up in my feed. Usually that's followed by clicking a like button and staring at my phone screen

having a place for things were they always will be when you need them ensures you don't have to search for them in an emergency

Really like the wrapping of of this video with that quote about rituals helping us bring a bit of awareness in our mundane lives.

I might also sing the first verse of smash mouth to time my tooth brushing if I didn’t have an automatic tooth brush.
