Hank gives us a tour of the most important table ever, including the life story of the obsessive man who championed it, Dmitri Mendeleev. The periodic table of elements is a concise, information-dense catalog of all of the different sorts of atoms in the universe, and it has a wealth of information to tell us if we can learn to read it. Pssst. we made flashcards to help you review the content in this episode! Find them on the free Crash Course App!

Not to be offensive but you need to get to the point of what your trying to get across the audience and don-t ramble on about some random things that are not to do with the topic and speak clear and slow that way the audience will have a better understanding of what you are saying. However overall the video is very good and full of information. Well done

I'm confused at 6: 23, wouldn't most halogens have pretty high ionization energy since they are so close to filling their valence shell of electrons (and they are more electronegative, making it harder to take away an electron?

What you think before the big science exam: I memorized all the elements of the periodic table!
During the exam: Fails to give an example of a single element.

Oi! The stone table is so much more important! Don-t get me wrong I love science but nothing can beat Aslan!
I like Mendeleev. He sounds like a cool guy.
