I hate these things. Once an infestation starts its expensive and time consuming to end.
First you need to find a flea treatment them aren't resistant to. And no vet is going to give you your money back if it doesn't work.
The best way to deal with them is to grab your cat, lock the bathroom door and comb them in front of the toilet. Drop everything into the bowl with some added toilet cleaner. The toilet cleaner makes them sink faster.
The reason I say a toilet and not a cup or bowl is because these little bstsds don't properly drown for 7 to 12 hours. Try it, drown them and then take them out the water and watch them wake up.
Hoover, everyday. They like skirting boards, check under the carpet against walls, hoover and wash anything the cat has laid its infested backside on. Then empty the hoover, everytime you've used it. Even outside. Cats have a spot they like to sleep in the gardens. Destroy the area with flea powder.

fcking fleas, once I had some of them in my house because of my cats going outside, these feas even killed a few kittens (because of all the wounds they leave over time)

As much as I do not like fleas they're interesting insects but I still have to say yucky yuck yuck to how difficult they are to kill! Ugh I'm itching all over now
